Considering he amount of idiots I've seen go and check targets without waiting for people to stop shooting, Its a valid concern. Had one guy walk in front of my table as I was about to shoot, He almost got a match loaded 30-06 through the chest (there are 2 dividers between each shooting table on my outside range, 50-300 yards).

@@killgorethefucklord true there jobs are better then a fast food worker bc you can see the awesome guns ligit and see the guns people bring to a shooting range and talk to people like the American way 🇺🇸
He really did! My way back when my sister had moved she tried to look for a gun range for her air rifle. (I don't think I have the name right on that but I believe it's a firearm with an unfortunate name that shoots REAL bullets) and they kept on telling her that they don't allow airsoft guns.
Yeah, you aren’t allowed to go down range. You might get shot. It happens. People are shooting guns in that direction. Unlike nerf guns, real guns actually kill you. Hence the precautionary warning.
@@notjustinyeetroblox9928 no it’s not, it’s 15.9mm. Making it a 16mm Vega round, bigger than a 50 bmg, the length of an actual 50bmg is 12.7 so idk where you got that for a nerf dart
@@gunslingerfromwish4656 there's quite the difference between an airsoft gun and a nerf One can shoot damn accurately dending on the gun and makes sense to train with The other doesn't even have the power to reach the target, and 0 chance to puncture it
It's midwest shooting center. They by far have the best employees, always helpful, chill and laid back. Definitely recommend going to one of their locations if you're into firearms.
Near me its illegal to own most airsoft, lots of water squirt toys, and I've got Nerf that would potentially be illegal on multiple levels there. Sadly this is the US...
@@thomasjhun3700 Range officers do their best but there's always that one idiot that forgets the training they went through to obtain a license for a gun in the first place.
bro gun store and shooting range employees are always the best because unlike pretty much every other establishment, you know they genuinely like working there, since nobody signs up to work at a gun store if they don't like guns
@@Passw0rdYT Yeah I completely agree, hunting/fishing store workers, shooting range workers, even game wardens are all usually super chill bc like you said they’re basically exclusively people who just like to hunt/fish/use guns/etc so everyone going there and working there basically automatically have something in common
@@beluwuga seemed more of a joke, but I'm presuming usual safety brief mentions not going downrange anyways. Either that or the next users got told there'll be moving targets if he does go to recover them, aha
@Gods Drunkest Driver there are very few range guys that are a problem, there's a few for sure but not many. But the kind of people who use the word fudd, there's a clear red flag of a know it all who's doing stupid shit.
@@franksmith8210 that’s the most boomer ass fudd shit I’ve ever heard. You’re the kind of guy who takes people to the range and rants about the rules of gun safety and has to correct people who say clip all the time. You’re the exact person driving people away from the hobby and complaining about trigger pulls being too close together.
@Gods Drunkest Driver lmao I've run a range for 15 years and we shoot everything from single shot .22lr to fully automatic 50bmg, again, people like you are lost. Keep telling yourself that though.
@@fionnnellis2117 They're actually a tad larger, they'd be a .51 caliber. Nerf dart: 13 mm (0.511811 inches) .50 Cal Bullet: 12.7 mm (0.50 inches) Considering they're foam, you could actually squeeze them into an empty .50 cal shell.
I once had a brass goblin go between my legs while I was letting binary trigger rips go to steal my casings. I've never seen an RSO power walk so fast, and luckily the guy was banned from the range on the spot
I've seen a number of first-time shooters do incredibly stupid things. Namely, trying to get their target while someone is shooting or pointing their weapon at other people.
@@Jesuschrist66696 since you clearly don't know what you're talking about let me explain. Yes its the same diameter as the 50bmg bullet. But not only 50bmg all 50 cals, .50 cal = 1/2 inch 12,7mm .50 inch
@@adamcotton8163 Depends on the range. If you're just renting a lane, usually between $10-25/hr. Specialty/tourist ranges might go up to $50/60 (think Battlefield Las Vegas). If you're renting guns, that's extra. Paying for instruction, that's extra. If they make you use their ammo (not uncommon for certain ranges that are worried about damage to the backstop), that's extra. Eye and ear protection rentals, targets, extra. Machine guns are usually extra because they like to have a safety officer on standby. An hour of range time can go anywhere between $10 and $90, depending on what you're doing. Some ranges allow you to buy a membership that's good for a year, they're typically between $60-100.
They didn't steal the idea but there's another video of someone bringing nerf to a gunrange from the RU-vid channel "Vlogcreations" AKA "Ross Creations"
@@jn-ti3of Guns aren't a weapon, they're a tool. They can be used as a weapon just like any other tool can, but they are simply a tool. Gun ranges are more for practicing aim and stuff.
Shout out to that shooting range for having awesome owners/employees. You don’t see genuinely nice people like that every day letting you come in to the shooting range to shoot a Nerf gun
the employees at firing ranges are always so chill. I went in one time and the lady done told me the whole story about how she makes the best Spaghetti in the Midwest lol
Makes sense. They're doing what they love, and they run a very controlled environment, with low stress, and zero worry that you'll get robbed for obvious reasons
