Couldn't you gut the Longstrike and replace it with Tri-Strike internals and get an Elite performing gun without sacrificing the beautiful design of the Longstrike.

My front gun (from long shot) goes as far as my longshot un-modded

A buddy of mine modded out a long strike to the point where the only original parts left were the pieces of the shell. He more or less turned it into a full blown air rifle that he dubbed "The Barrel Buster" and it was able to shoot a good 120-ish feet with surprisingly decent accuracy using his own custom made darts. He also gave it an amazing paint job to make it look like a sort of sci-fi sniper rifle. If I had to guess, the whole project probably set him back at least two hundred dollars.

I recently salvaged a Longstrike that was discarded where I work. It did not have the barrel extension or sights but it’s in great condition otherwise and shoots like it was new. I am definitely looking forward to modding it and see what potential it holds.

i found an un-opened pack of streamlines in my storage room, and I threw them in my old alpha trooper and jammed it on the first shot, on the bright side, my stryfe works!

I actually agree with you in regards to your final question, on which blaster to use now and which one to mod. I've never really had the supplies to mod due to the constant moving around that I do, but now that I've heard your thoughts and ideas, I actually miss my Longshot CS-6; I auctioned mine off in an event for my brother's co-workers in it's stock-form. I wonder what it could've been turned into, had I kept it?

The Longstrike is my favorite in case of looks but the Longshot is my favorite in case of extendable stock and bipod.

I love the try strike and throw that thing that grabs the dart and makes it go straight in there and more powerful spring that is awesome

Man I had the first one when I was a kid! My favorite nerf gun hands down

I literally just bought the longstrike, just because of the looks. I put a modulus camo scope on it and the modulus bipod and it looks super sweet. I do wish it shot a bit harder. I just shoot targets around my apartment so it doesn't have to shoot super hard. Elite springers work just fine and I run my stryfe and rapidstrike with just two IMR's. I'm gonna see if I can get a few more fps out of it just so I can use it comfortably around the house.

i feel like you should have added the modulus longstrike with the white and green style paintjob from amazon bc it has a beefed up internals and preforms way better than the og longstrike but great vid keep it up!

I'm old so I go Old Skool all the way. I remember when the Longshot first came out but my parents wouldn't get me one :( Now I have one and intend to do an almost money no limits mod. Do a full internal overhaul. Then I've always been a fan of the Barrett M82 Rifle whenever playing computer games, just love the look, so intend to make my Longshot look as close as I can (but with a red and blue paint job with a few orange bits as these are my colours). I've found someone online who 3d prints a muzzle that looks the part as well as seen other peoples versions of this in a nerf blaster. But this is not gunna be a quick build as I want to get it right :)

I want to make a direct plunger long strike with a full brass breach stretching the entire length of the barrel extension, I would need a super strong spring to clear that barrel but it would be awesome

I have the long shot cs6 and am not old it is actually very good and I am lucky it still has the same module sockets so I could use parts from the module series

Its a magazine because of the spring pushing up the platform to raise the projectile, allowing darts to reach the firing point.

I have a long shot minus front gun. And a longstrike that I plan on repainting for a Fallout Cosplay, I’m also dropping in a 5k spring from Orange mod works because the kid who I bought it off of didn’t take a great care for it and it barley gets the darts out.

I definitely have the Tri-Strike. Btw all of these snipers do have module slots you see the red spots on top those are modulus module areas

For battle, I'd probably go for the Longshot, leaning towards the Tri Strike. Purely for cosmetics and limited upgrades, I'd try to get a direct plunger system that would fit and work well, but cosmetically, out of the box, the Longstrike looks better and can be made to look even more awesome.
