While that is kind of a bummer, after watching you shoot it, that pump action draw is really short and I think you could get close to slam fire action even with pump trigger pull, pump trigger pull being required. You got shots off fairly quickly and you weren't even trying to speed shoot.
A super unique and fun blaster in the gel ecosystem, I love a good shotgun. They did great on this blaster, my only real gripe is that in true Nerf fashion they gave us a tiny, non adjustable stock, but the rest of the blaster is pretty great. Nice review as always!
Will I ever use gel blasters? "When you pry the foam from my cold dead hands". 😁 But yeah, this thing does look pretty good. I'd lose the stock completely though and use it as as back up.
Thank you for your thoughts. I love the idea about a shotgun burst. Agreed, though, needs an adjustable stock. Still not super interested in gel blasters but maybe some day I'll come around 😄
Dude honestly I just like where nerf is going with this line!. A sniper that could be use as a sniper, full auto fun smgs, Dual wield sidearms with a punch, and 5 rounds shotgun!. Im sold!.

Gel blasters are a lot cheaper if you order it for pick-up from a local store or order it online thanks for the videos they have been helpful for choosing witch blasters that are the best to get
I have a bunch of 260+ fps Performance blaster but I love my mythic cuz the ergo and way it looks so I definitely want this as I don't have any shotgun style gel blasters

Assume you'll review the Dual Pack thing? I am curious considering it doesn't require priming. (Also the cheapest non-sale price nerf gelfire blaster(s)...also I like the asthetic)
I know you dont like the short stock but, I feel with this blaster kinda being designed and functioning like a shot gun, I dont think you'd really wanna pull it up to your eye sight to shoot it. It's almost like the stock is there just for some stability and balance because it's meant to be fired from the hip. I dunno just my opinion.
Great review! However I have been curious, what is the button at the front? And is the barrel metal? I was kind of pessimistic regarding nerf creating a half dart line, but seeing the ghost, I feel like it is actually possible now.
The button looking thing at the front is actually cosmetic! As for the barrel, I can't really tell, but I don't think so. There's a plastic shroud covering the actual barrel.
How does one aim this thing with the hopper in the way of the built-in sights? I recently purchased one of these blasters on sale and am having trouble figuring out how to aim it at all. I understand that with a 5-shot scatter, pinpoint accuracy is not so important, but still... I was thinking of getting an inexpensive red dot tactical laser add-on. I presume that would mount to those ridges on the blaster in front of the hopper. Any information or advice you can provide on aiming will be appreciated.
Got this for my birthday, and I noticed that it usually shoots more than just 5 shots... is this normal? I shouldn't be complaining but I feel like that might effect range and FPS performance lol
