I just put a full playset of obosh into my rakdos deck instead of companion, the deck stayed exactly the same and it still works

i think maybe you could’ve swayed the first game a lot if instead of thassa you kept the land and spiraled into it, you could play the aggressive and push out a forerunners? thoughts?

I think Gyruda will be the companion that will less resent from the rule change: it doesn't really change much except that now it comboes 1 turn later, but it still comboes by itself and you still have it immediately at 6 mana, it's just easier to answer now

in the past when I did a gyruda deck with good instants or sorcery I had auger of bolas to help me not mill the cards gyruda can't hit

Could'nt you play incubation in the companion Version of gyruda? Since it is a dual spell with both sides being odd costed(1/3) the card has an even cmc and should fit gyruda's condition

Also: I don't really see why you should stop playing gyruda in her current setup after the nerf. The 3 mana extra hurts gyruda decks who are ramp anyways the least i think

You could, to get the effect off again. Unlike Spark Double though, it can't treat the copy as non-Legendary, so you will have to drop one of them after the ETB triggers.
