This Could Be The Most BROKEN Build In Destiny History...
I was called out for being a "Toxic Streamer" or "Salty Hunter" for calling this build overpowered, when we first saw it in Trials. Hopefully this Trials card will show you that it is an issue and one that Bungie was right to address for Crucible and Trials of Osiris. Enjoy!

Jake, completely off topic, Tonight you ended stream and hosted a random D2 player. That player happened to be a friend of mine while we were mid raid. That little action is huge to smaller creators. Jake could have hosted any of the other known players and no one thinks about it but hosting a friend with 3 viewers is just cool. Anyways on the subject of the video: I love seeing warlocks doing well in PvP. I main titan. I have a lot to say about how bad titans are at the moment but in general titan has been the best class in PvP for a while. Warlocks being busted gets heat off the titans backs but its also just nice to see more warlocks playing. The last time I saw this many warlocks was before the double icarus dash nerf in beyond light. And its not just this build that is making people play warlock. Warlock has the best prismatic kit and is just super fun to play at the moment. I just hope when the nerfs come they are just to this one build in PvP. All I know though is I am super excited for the future of this game which is unusual.

We learned through the years in D2 that anything that gives you a clear advantage in terms of hit points either it is healing or overshields or damage reduction,the one who abuses it is allowed to make mistakes and that is not good in a competitve scene like PvP especially in 3v3's that gunplay was suppose to matter.

Hawkmoon made short work of it last weekend. But that's assuming your mates don't chain die and you are left 1v3. Khovostov raw dps also killed em through the regen, thankfully they touched up on it.

Another thing to point out (only a couple minutes but just wanted to emphasize this) Jake only had 44 resil. He had 4 resil and was able to stay in gunfights for that long. Longer than some 10 resil titans can.

Your resilience stat is never going to affect how long you can stay in a gunfight, resilience only matters for damage/forgiveness checks

So none of you understand. Resil is damage resist. It doesnt heal like @Ruiji said, and @sauldenne7118 is just plain wrong. Resil can affect a gun's TTK on you. 100 resil can take more hc shots then 20 resil. Or in this case, 40 resil.

You can run this on prismatic with the new solar super too if you get a trip 100 build grenade health & super it is incredibly supressive when 2 or more people run it on the team

I understand where the community is coming from jake because u gotta remember how long did it take for hinter shatter dive to get nerfed when it was originally broken or titan shoulder charge w insurmountable skullfort or void titans as a whole just existing several months for most of them to even get patched if not needing multiple patches yet the warlocks become op and lore wise they have the largest amount of light at their disposal so it would make sense they are the most powerful and they finally get a broken build to be nerfed what 3 weeks after it was discovered to be op in pvp they are upset as warlocks havent been pvp meta in a very long time and this allowed them to be meta and its getting nerfed in what feels like immediately after getting it so i get it as an ex warlock main

@@Ziqua when rose was meta, a hunter with stompees was still slower than both other classes. Imagine thinking a primary ammo hand cannon that takes skill to use and has a low ttk is scarier than three striker titans who can all OHK a whole team with a single melee that has as much range as a rose. Oh yeah- in case one of your teammates got away- that titan has now healed to full health for getting the melee kill. But yeah- the hunters with an exotic that’s only purpose is to make them almost as fast as the other classes and a HC is scary. Prismatic hunters need a nerf. No question. But to act like hunters have been OP the last few years is insane.

The big Problem in Destiny 2 is that Warlocks and also Titans have basically no good exotics and Hunters have all those great exotics on top of by far the best most op movement abilities in the game. It really is no wonder that like 90percent of all the people that play Trials of Osiris always play Hunter and the moment Warlocks or Titans get something good for PvP it always gets immediately nerfed while Hunters never get nerfs.

My brother in Christ this is literally broken, hunter has been on the bottom since air Effectiveness, you literally die if you go into the air. Titan and warlock have been the best classes SINCE AE. Bubble and well spam has literally been everything you see in pvp since hunters got shafted with AE. Warlocks literally have the BEST movement with Icarus dash. Stop talking if you don't know shit. Hunters literally got a whole new mechanic just to nerf them, the purpose of Air Effectiveness was to cripple hunters because of whiny dicks like you who say hunters have the best mobility. And even then y'all still complain.

Warlocks and titans have had overpowered exotic the old splendor helmet for titan was extremely overpowered and alot of hunter abilities have been nerfed, in compensation.. and some hunter exotics have been reworked and bow you have this warlock build which alot of people will be building around

So are we not gonna act like Solar warlock with Icarus Dash doesn’t have some of the best movement and speed out of all of the classes 🤔 also let’s not forget that Arc and Void Titans ran PvP for a couple of season using Antaeus Wards. Also theirs a fine line between good and BROKEN Speakers sight helmet is broken, Antaeus Wards were also BROKEN allowing you to reflect supers, Heavy, and special ammo shots, Dunemarchers pre nerf was also BROKEN allowing you to one shot electrocute people from across the map for doing nothing. Before shoulder charge, and Titan shift was nerfed to use class ability energy they had the #1 movement in the game. Don’t even get me started on the barricades and the actual subclass kits itself before the nerf.

I am so glad a vocal creator is pointing out that the issue is with the Helmet. So many people are complaining abot Khvostov that they're basically removing the exotic perk from the weapon in PVP. The gun was never the issue it was just the obvious symptom. The issue is always free orbs of power in PVP

@@Plag-Dmon98 Khvostov doesn't have 30% usage, only 10%. It barely out performs Red Death sitting at 9%, despite having been been advertised as extremely good by all of the top PvP content creators, and being brand new to the annual expansion. Add to that, fully 35% of all Warlocks are pairing it with the Speaker helm. Meaning on average you will have a Warlock running the combo themselves or enabling the combo every other game, and on your team every third game. The helm is the second most popular exotic following stoppers (14.9 to 11.2 usage), despite hunters having a 50% usage to warlocks 32%.

@@terryleggettjr If we look at last week (endless vale), the usage was much higher. But you have to account for collateral hits, and realize the tracker follows DEFEATS, which include ASSISTS, not last hits. So a player with the ricochet tagging all three opponents for his teammates to clean up will add 3 to the total even if they end up with 0 actual final blows. And if you have 2 players with Khvostov, or even 3, if they all ricochet, those 3 kills will count as 9 defeats total towards the gun stats even though only 3 players died. Add to that that endless vale was the week people started to really juice the orb generation, on a chokepoint heavy, teamshot strategy, midrange map perfect for autos, and it was just a perfect storm for an anomaly.

to me this is like stassis when it came out, yes Warlock super was broken (like this build) but shatter dive and now even more so with threaded spector they are also an issue. Both time the Warlock were nerfed quickly (not saying that the nerf was wrong) but shatter dive took forever to get nerfed and I feel TS is even more out of whack now than when it first came out with strand. and no nerf coming for that. it is disappointing. I am not saying don't use it in Trial / Comp, the point is to win and it is legit in the game, but stubborn warlock main me just shakes my head.

I don't play PvP much so I don't know much about what the exotic could impact PvP, so I'll stay out of it. But in PvE warlock do need this exotic to stay the same as it is, since Bungie nerfed well, so I'm glad Bungie didn't nerf this exotic. But I have a feeling its not gonna last for long, knowing Bungie ofcourse.

Instrad of nerfing everything the solution to all of this stuff is just not allow multiple of the same class in 3v3 competitive matches. That would have fixed 3 bubble titans, 3 invisible or strand hunters, and this 3 warlock bs. Other games do it, and it would make the crucible sooo much less annoying. What makes so much of this stuff potent is multiple people doing it.

In order to do this you need 2 if not 3 top players all on warlocks all running speaker helm with well, no hestitation & Kovostov. 3 of top players in the game using the most broken shit in the game & playing like a team with a strategy. Top players with a good game plan using builds that compliment each other & that aren't all about themselves always has this result.

As long as he also talks about prismatic hunters needing. Tune as well, fine with this thing getting a slight nerf. Threaded spectre spam and hiding behind it as an escape button making them impossible to shoot then you get threadlings that come at you. Swarm grenades littered around every corner, wormhusk and ophids/ double dodge. or power balance boots screwing radar for the whole team. Broken new arc super that has fastest cool down. The helmet isn’t broken,m it’s khvostov that’s broken that people are pairing it with. And khvostov is def getting a nerf. I was killed from cross map on the trials map this week. Thing killed me from like 50+ meters.

I've noticed a lot of people using Swarm + Smoke & barely anyone seeming to notice or bring this up... There is a Fragment that allows your light abilities to do more damage against darkness debuffed targets. I've been using Duskfield + Smoke & the difference is noticeable plus they're slowed from the Grenade! Renewal Grasps have been my go to for the longest time. Even without the super buffed crystal from the dedicated stasis kit, I'm still using them. The Smoke detonation will cause the crystal to explode doing even more damage! If Prismatic had the Explosive Throwing Knife? I don't think I'd ever run anything else.

Another thing to note. This build only gets super annoying with 2/3 ppl doing it. There are plenty of annoying things coordinated teams can do. Let us warlocks have one thing man. I just want my support build. You only run into this thing being a problem when you’re a top 1% player running 2’s or 3’s.

I'm glad that I don't play destiny anymore. The PVP streamers always get warlocks nerfed almost instantly whenever something is OP.

Its not the fact of it being op its the fact that hunters and titans get op stuff and get to keep it for multipl seasons but the moment worlocks get something op they get to keep it for a week

Bro what do you mean? You’re getting a super in 2 rounds of trials. And this is only a nerf to pvp, pve is getting unchanged. Hell, this season made me play on my warlock and I’ve been a hunter main since d1 beta. Not even using this build, warlocks are the most diverse rn, and if you’re mad about a pvp nerf then find a different build lmao

And the fact all those other metas lasted so long is criminal. It all should have been nerfed just as fast. But to be fair you are killing people who arent even engaged in the fight, getting healing and damage buffs for free virtually turning u into a raid boss, and u get super in 4-5 rounds which was just as fast if not faster than pre nerf well. This is absolutely the most broken build we have seen in pvp.
