+Maximilian Sinigr the only reason I can't agree with you on your point is frankly this: it's not quote on quote "slow" enough; though a good song indeed thanks for sharing forsooth
@@aidanmarshall6613 Yeah, but they used the same chords. It's a neat way to call in the same emotions that you'd have listening to this song. A lot of music in this movie takes chords from the songs and beautifully lays them out in different scenes to call specific emotional beats. It's what makes this movie so unique imo.
The dream of love never measures to the reality --both in true and unrequited. The golden girl with a voice full of money will never come down from her pedestal towards the common man, and he is spared the ultimate heartbreak with unjust death. Gatsby was dreaming with his last breath, and his hope was bigger than his life.
We can have the fantasy we create. Both parties need to be open to it. There are no limits to our short time here on earth. The limits you see are imaginary.
Think this is such a beautifully written thought. However, for me personally, I've come to find Gatsby's love to be ultimately a bad thing. Mainly because he is entombed to the past to pin for a woman he built up into an epic in his mind from just a mere happenstance meeting with Dasiy; who I argue isn't even all that great of a person character-wise when stepping back and judged outside of Gatsby's infatuations with her. That's why to me the true biggest meaning and symbolism that the Great Gatsby represents is the dangers of idealism and letting nostalgia chain one too much to the past.
@@ASymbolicSymbol I agree. I personally absolutely hated the book for precisely because I realized it was written from the perspective of the illusion he was under and I actually couldn't stand to finish reading the book when I was younger.
WHY WASN'T THIS PLAYED MORE IN THE MOVIE?! It's ominous and chilling, but hypnotic and absolutely exhilarating... I get goosebumps every time I listen. There are so many scenes that this song is perfect for.
This song makes me feel like I passed into the astral world and I am seeing a loved one from a past life I lived along time ago in a completely different existence, and as we come to the end of our time for our solar system and it becomes engulfed in a pull of a black hole we don't worry cause our souls exist forever as the universe is just a big cycle.
I'm addicted to this song. This feeling of darkness, fear, sexual tension which is mixed with some kind of pureness, happiness and fulfillment is unearthly... I'm absolutely amazed by this song and I love the vocals and how the strings were used. Dear Nero I beg you, do more songs like this.
I was listening to "Together" by The XX from the Gatsby Soundtrack in my car, and this song is on after it, and I instantly fell in love with it. I was missing out for a year before I found it. It's one of my favorite songs right now, especially the last minute and a half.
Feels so futuristic and eerie. Almost out of this world. When I listen to it, at around 3:00, I feel like my soul is trying to vibrate out from every inch of my body. Very, very powerful song.
Okay so I can't explain the feelings I have listening to this song..like I feel this overwhelming emptiness but also total fulfillment or satisfaction I just..I dunno. This amazing sound is otherworldly.
People have said it before, and I'll say it again.. This song is beyond amazing. Shivers run all through my body.. The vocals and the synergy they have with that astounding music. oh my god. I want to see Nero live again! The only time I have was at Future music in Sydney, 2015. Blew me away!
Это потрясающе! Невероятно! Не могу передать все эмоции, слов не хватит. Я просто в раю от прослушивания этого трека. Мурашки, дрожь по телу, эйфория. Люблю!❤ (2022 год).
This is an incredible track. Yes I am a little late to the party, but my wife just screamed at me, because of this track, and got me to listen to it. WOW it really moves your soul.
Is this gonna be our end? I can feel the light Somewhere in the darkness I'll follow you I'll follow you I saw the sign of rust And I read your name Heard it fade into the past where I'll follow you I'll follow you I'll follow you I'll follow I'll follow He'll show me the way there I can see the light But in the darkness I'll follow you I'll follow you I'll follow you I'll follow you I'll follow I'll follow I'll follow I'll follow I'll follow I'll follow I'll follow I'll follow you
Abradolf Lincler How come he spoiled it? Also, Spike dies, James killed Mary and brainwashed himself to believe she died of a disease, and Vader is Luke's father.
It feels like a song you would hear in a dream. A song that makes you think of your ancestors, and the friends that have left this world too young. A song that moves your soul.
Nero's track are amazing. Innocence, Me and You, Feel So Close Remix, the list doesn't end. But this song. This song cannot be topped. The amount of emotion is incredible, the way the chords swell into the next phrase is perfect. The echo of the drums and violas gives the song a feeling of no end. It's like I'm at a orchestra concert. Indescribably beautiful.
Crazy to think that this track is 10 years old already... I remember when it first came out, I was a senior in High school and was dumbfounded by how beautiful this track is..
What touches my heart the most every time i listen to the Gatsby soundtrack is the shrill sound of green light. It just brings me back to the scene of Gatsby reaching out his hand at the dock...
Thank god I listened to the soundtrack when it came out. I wasn’t one to listen to soundtracks or albums but I remember after watching the movie that it had been the first time I had ever loved all the songs that were included and decided to take a chance! This is the best song out of the entire soundtrack.
When I hear this song, it instantly makes me think of a delusional, infatuated/obsessed mental patient. The lyrics "I'll follow you... I'll find you." paired with sudden breaks in the song (perfect for discordant, jerky movements often seen in crazy people), breaths as she composes herself, and smooth passionate mantras make for an amazing choreography that I hope to see come to life one day.
this song is so freaking dramatic.............I LOVE IIIIIIT! my vibes cant even handle it. every time I hear this song, i look out the window and think of myself inside a really dramatic love movie idk
This has got to be one of the best dub step songs I have ever heard. It is simply amazing! I love is so much! It takes me away to a far away place in my mind that is beautiful. Just listen and be transported to a world of dreams…..
This song already gets me emotional and when I saw The Great Gatsby in theaters it made Gatsby's death even more emotional for me than it would have been without it. Absolutely an amazing track.
Magical ! I follow in the echo and im mezmorized when she strech the word yooouuu. Your in a trance state by then. And the beat..wow. with the orchestra sound. Out of this world. Need more music like this, that can really draw you in. A treat for the ears for sure!
I feel that no matter how much I favourite this song, add it to playlists or like it I cannot express how much I'm obsessed with it. Must find other ways to show love.

this is one of my favorite song ever with The XX - Together also from Gatsby , the soundtrack of the movie is wonderful ! And those are not songs that you hear everyday on radio . Amazing work
I absolutely love this song! Best song on the soundtrack by far ... although the whole album is amazing! This song just stands out by miles for me! Hitting repeat over & over!!
Absolutely love the song. Her vocal range is just phenomenal when she shifts into the high note of the chorus (youuUUUuuUuuUuU)....and yes the song just takes me away on an amazing journey that I cant really describe. But it's like feeling intense love, at the same time missing someone I don't know, and being transported into some place in the not top distant future cyberpunk ish.
I do believe that Nero played the role of Ewing Klipspringer the pipe organ player in The Great Gatsby, I noticed this when he played trap music on the pipe organ. Only Nero is capable of such great feats.
so happii thiz popped into my head tonight...itz been a really long time since i listened...maybe years/a year? who knows? grateful for thiz masterpiece
