Regarding the violence in Brazil I can confirm what Prika said. It's not that anarchy at all but violcence turned out to be really bad specially in Sao Paulo and Rio. It really depends a lot of the reality of each city and state and it's social politics which are pretty bad in a macro vision. Regarding the metal scene, I feel like it reached the peak around 2010s specially in Sao Paulo and somehow MTV Brasil played a huge role on that by introducing punk, hardcore, new metal to a certain generation and from that we got curious to pursue heavier stuff. Since we no longer have a "central hub" to introduce people new stuff they have to go after to know Metal on their own nowadays or have someone to introduce it to newer generatons like parents, cousins or uncles that are into the genre. Also, metal was always a very marginalized genre in Brazil so I feel that the metal scene is prone to get more and more to underground. I might be wrong of course, but that's what I feel.
I'm a big fan of the two previous vocalist for this band (DS and FR); however Prika stepped it up and is doing a tremendous job moving forward with her band. Awesome work, and their latest album is a banger for sure!

Whenever I think of Nervosa, I always also think of Crypta along with them, and vice versa. Idk if that's a good thing or not considering the history between them but that's just what happens for some reason
