That Megaman-style girl at 1m41s made me think we are actually Pizzaman! I was surprised you can actually make 10000 dollars for delivering a few pizzas, I guess they have a nice risk premium bonus.
Pizza Pop! is a Famicom game I definitely would have liked to have played back in late 1992/early 1993. I'm curious as to why it didn't get released outside of Japan, as the game was "American" enough to be released on the NES, seems to be balanced in difficulty (not too hard, but not easy), has very little Japanese in the game, and, judging from this gameplay video, definitely not too long. Well, anyway, great playthrough.
I would bet it's because by the 90s every game that wasn't first party like Kirby was cratering in sales on the NES so they didn't bother. It's the same reason Final Fantasy III or Mother 1 never released in the West
@@RAS-gz5yb: That sounds about right. Also, around the time this game was released in Japan, the Super NES was in full swing in North America. 1991 thru 1994 were pretty much the twilight years for the NES anyway.

¿Anyone noticed that this game has some similarities with other games like CastleVania III, Yo! Noid, and that of Game & Watch Gallery about catching fried food???
