I could never get far in Mario Bros. The farthest I think I ever got to was, I think, Phase 12 or 13. My favorite enemy in this game is the Side-Stepper (or Crab). I love when they turn pink and zip around swiftly through the stage, especially in their 🤬 form!

in my version, it stops at phase 60, no enemies drop out of the pipes, it's just purgatory

Hmm... Any guesses as to why it was only the turtles (and possibly fireballs too))who made it to be adversaries of Super Mario Brothers, leaving the crabs and cicadas out in the coul?

Wow I've never seen honest-to-god teamwork in this game before... Makes the game a lot easier! The *POW* Block is basically unnecessary now. Back in the day me and my best friend thought we were competing against each other 😅

i only got to phase 10 the slipice and crabs [forgot what they are called] and fireballs make the game more challenging

By far, my favorite enemy in *Mario Bros* is the side-stepping "crab". I haven't played this game in 2-player mode for a long time. Online emulators only let me play this game (and others) in 1-player mode since they have long since eliminated the 2-player mode.
