I love love LOVE that you always include a scripture at the end of your videos. Really love the one you shared today too, and it's so true! thank you :)
I have been a supporter of Jess and Gabe since they were dating and to see how far they have come brings me happiness. Congratulations! Yall are truly beautiful. 🤍
I will be 37 weeks on Friday with a baby girl and am finding so much joy from watching your updates! I am realizing some little postpartum things that I was wanting to pick up and I still need to make an extra little station in our room. Thank you for sharing your journey, it has been so lovely to feel like I have a distant friend going through the same things as me!
Mum era is so much sweeter when you're experiencing it with like-minded people...even if we are in different countries (although we are from the same country! 🇦🇺) Love navigating this phase of life with you Jess! xx 🥰
I truly love your videos! No, you don’t need to bring the peri bottle to the hospital. They’ll have a bottle but it may not have the angled part so that you can use it upside down! I would 100% bring baby wipes though. Most hospitals have the kind that are dry.
I’m so excited to see all the joy and love this new chapter will bring to your life. Wishing you and your growing family all the best and lots of happiness! 🩵🩵
Aghh baby is almost here!!! I’m 36 weeks and this video is motivating me to get my checklist done too! Wishing you smooth sailing in that last stretch of pregnancy and praying for a quick labor/delivery and recovery 🙏☺️
Makes me feel very nostalgic when I had my youngest child. The excitement in preparing all the clothes and stuff for the coming baby. Hoping for your safe and healthy delivery. Cant wait to see the baby boy in the next vlog ❤️❤️❤️
hey Jess! The hospital will have a simple peri bottle, similar to the water bottle you showed a picture of. Women seem to prefer the frida mom peri bottle, because of the angle you can hold it at. Hope that helps!
Ahh Jess!! I love this so much and I am so obsessed with your content. Thank you for being such an inspiration to me and so many other girls. You are so fun to watch and I love seeing your day to day life. You are such a good mom to Kaia and I can’t wait to watch you be a boy mom. Ilysm and I hope you’re having an amazing day 💕
Hi Jess✨ I love how everything's coming together so nicely! I've been watching your vlogs since day 1 and it's so inspiring to see how much you've grown to be an amazing women of Christ and a beautiful and wonderful mom! Sending lots of love from Argentina 🤍
Jess, this is so helpful!! I’m literally adding stuff to my registry as I watch this 😊 I’m due in November with our first baby! Excited for you guys and thanks for being the best big sister figure!! ❤️
Love this vlog! Very productive nesting! Love the way you organized it all. Aesthetic but most importantly FUNCTIONAL!❤ Wishing you the smoothest and sweetest labor and delivery!!
I will be 35 weeks on Friday with my third ( surprise gender ) and here I am thinking about what I need to do in my closet and kitchen lol. Neither include baby gear. Going through the comments and seeing so many moms who are also due this month/ next month. Hang in there momma's we are so close!!!!
I’m so excited for you! 🎉I have 4 1/2 weeks until my due date (this is my first!) and I have really enjoyed this content. Thank you! Praying for a great delivery for you! ❤
Awe my baby is nearly 6 months and watching this makes me realize how fast time goes with a baby… it seems like yesterday I was nesting and getting everything ready too 😩😭 I can’t wait till we doing that all over again in a few years! 😄 You can do the first big drawer with diapers and wipes, so you don’t need to replace so quickly. & on the smaller drawer do creams, lotions, medicine. Second one can be bibs, socks, burp clothes. & pjs 3rd :)
This was so helpful and minimal! I’m 30 weeks with my first and everyone seems to have so much stuff it stresses my ‘less is more’ soul out 😂 so thank you for this video 💙
LOVE the idea of caddy on cart!! I really don’t want to overstep but the medicine in there - with a toddler in tow, I don’t even know if she can reach but just in case you might want to remove it! I did the exact same but there are moments you get stuck with bub & to make it safer that there is nothing she could accidentally reach 🩷🩷take this with a grain of salt I think what you’ve done & are doing is amazing!!! Just wanted to share my experience xx
Getting super excited for you! I am hoping of nothing but the best and healthiest outcome for you and the baby. :) I will finish my bachelor's degree in a week. And my son, who I was pregnant with when you had Makaiah, is currently 20 months. Watching this makes me excited to start trying for another. I wanted to wait until I finished school which is so close! Those early days are a lot but also so blissful. I have wondered how it will be the second time around with a toddler, as I am sure you are as well. lol Much love from Iowa.
I’m freshly postpartum (bubs is almost 3 weeks) and I would bring your peri bottle with you to hospital! Sooo much nicer than what you’ll get there! Also, I would wear the Frida mom hospital gown for after delivery when still in hospital as you can’t unsnap the arm holes to take it on and off if you have an iv. Best of luck to you 💙
I took the Frida peri bottle to the hospital and glad I did. They have some in the hospital but they do not have the angle to Frida does and the Frida can be used more precisely and upside down I would say put it in your bag! ❤
Honestly the diapers are the better option. The maxi pads are so thick and they move around, and you get all hot down there. I’d recommend the depends, and it’s easier to change and throw out rather than sit there and get the maxi pad in position etc. I had like 3 peri bottles but found the squeeze ones better as water didn’t get everywhere and didn’t come out of the peri bottle hole. The best thing to bring to US hospitals are depends, a delivery gown so you’re comfortable, your own socks/slippers, and comfy outfits to change into. But a feeding gown is easier since they come in to check so often. A portable fan! A good water bottle.
We are one week apart on our due dates! I want to ask if you could maybe do a video on breastfeeding? This will be my first time attempting to breastfeed and I love watching others talk about their experience and recommendations etc 😊
I have packed the Frida mom peri bottle in my hospital bag for all three of mine. It works much better than the type the hospital gave. It made it a lot easier.
random things i wanna share to jess and yall(but if u do know this, then im glad u do❣️)im not sure if America have this but at H&M u can recycle ur shirt/bottom wear then u will get a coupon.i always recycle mine/babies cloths and its kinda a tips for me to get ride of the cloths that i dont needed.
Bring that peri bottle! It’s 100x better than the one they give you. Honesty everything in that box is better than what they give you so I’d take it all to the hospital with you
I’m 35 weeks with twins. And I don’t feel like I have everything I need but I have so much stuff at the same time lol. I need some of those kits you got. I need those carts they seem useful and I didn’t know dr browns had glass bottles either so now I need to order some of those.
Hi Jess, wishing you a safe delivery for baby boy 🩵 I hope you don’t mind me asking but what has led to your decision to have your baby boy in USA vs having Makiah in Australia? Hope you and your family are keeping well xx
I’m 35 weeks today and started nesting the other day but gave up real quick lol 😅❤ I’m so tired.. 😮💨 I managed to wash all new baby clothes and got my living space cleared and situated. Still have a lot to do unfortunately 😫 lol
I brought my Frida bottle to the hospital. They had a peri bottle in the hospital for me to use, but I definitely preferred the Frida bottle due to the angle.
Great idea to have a few brands of diapers. What works for girls can be very different than boys. Always heard Huggies works better for girls and pampers for boys. Idk how true that is for everyone but definitely true for our family!
omg so early :,) jess pls share how you look so amazing and radiant even when pregnant with ur second child (im 21 yrs old and not having a kid anytime soon lmao but i need to know 🥲
Does Kaya ( sorry if I spelled the nickname wrong ) have an Aussi passport and if so can baby 2 get it as well or how does that work?? Ps lots of love and praying for a safe and healthy birth! ❤❤
