Hey guys! Here we are again, talking about Ram enclosures. Sorry, it's just what we know and do.
We're talking about a few of our Mega Cab behind the seat sub enclosures, including introducing our new XL or Jumbo enclosure. We have forward firing, down firing, small and large, sealed and ported, and our normal Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 trim options. It all depends on how much bass you want, what sound you like, and if you want something flashy or stealthy.

For the white medium box on the left for a 2018 mega cab can I do 4 10s ported ? And what subs and amp would you recommend

The enclosure is only 3.25cuft total airspace. They would have to be just the right sub to work ported in that small of airspace.

@@Netaudiowf I’m not too picky on the sub brand do you have any good recommendations for 4 shallow 10s or 2 shallow 12s

@@mrjuice2188 That would require 10s that can be ported is .75cuft and that is very small. If you're wanting something that big for sound then I would look at the Large and Jumbo enclosures. Running equipment like that requires some airspace behind it and that Medium enclosure isn't really intended for that because the airspace isn't there.

@@Netaudiowf2 Sundown Audio SLD-10 D4 10" 600W RMS Dual 4-Ohm Shallow Subwoofer will these fit in the medium box ported

@@mrjuice2188 Those are listed as wanting 1cuft each, and that's before port displacement. Still well above what that enclosure offers in airspace. If you are wanting that kind of bass, you will have to do a larger enclosure.

It depends on what you're matching it with. A pair of ported 10s rock in there.

@@baltasararreola49 I would never recommend that, purely out of safety reasons. If you brought us a setup like that to our store asking us to install it, we would turn you down. That much weight with something that large sitting on your back seat, if you get in a wreck with a sudden stop, that 100lb subwoofer enclosure multiplies in weight with force and will plow through anything in front of it, including you. I would recommend getting an enclosure for under the back seat and stick with something that won't kill you.
