This video shows my vantage point as I run a net for one of my local ham radio clubs. The date of this video was 1-1-2024 (New Years Day). This net marks my one year anniversary of running the net for the Blue Ridge Amateur Radio Society (Upstate South Carolina).
This is not a step-by-step video on how to run a net, but It might be helpful for someone interested in running a net for his or her club. Thanks for stopping by.

What frequency and what days do they check in, I found it interesting one Man said Punta. Gorda, is that Florida, 73’s happy safe New Year from Kb4jog, Central Florida

Hey Dennis. Since the repeater is in the upstate South Carolina it is too far to reach the repeater from Florida via VHF. The operator that checked in from Punta Gorda, Florida did so via Echolink, which is a web based application to let operators access many repeater online. Echolink is a free app that is pretty cool. We would love for you to check in to the nets. The nets are at 9pm, seven days a week. The Echolink node is 545072. If you are near the repeater the frequency is 146.610 - 146.01 tone. Thanks and 73
