Simply brilliant. This is what ignorant teachers miss out today. They think RU-vid is a time waster when ironically this is a better use of time for me than the lessons are

Hi thank you Leslie for the videos...I have a question.... what would be the effect on the NFP if a person sustains a fall injuring blood vessels and/or femoral artery?

Hi Professor samuel, may be the question is dumb, but is the NHP always positive or can be negative on the way? Has it something to do with bernouilli equation?

Can someone please explain why and how the answer is B (8 mmHg)? Calculate the NFP for the under the following conditions: • Hydrostatic pressure 32mmHg • Osmotic pressure: 26mmHg a. 58 mmHg b. 8 mmHg c. 18 mmHg d. -8 mmHg e. cannot be determined

I think this video is wrong. Hydrostatic pressure is higher at the arterial end and lower at the venous end, BUT osmotic pressure is CONSTANT in a capillary. It overrides the hydrostatic pressure at the venous end allowing absorption, but it doesn't change.
@esthersu1763

+Anne Simmons i think you are right, or it should be said oncotic pressure= colloid osmotic pressure =25 mmHg. there are further explanation in Human Physiology: Silverthorn in chapter 15 which might be useful as well:) and thank you for this video, it is really helpful~

Does Hybetez Remedy really work? I notice lots of people keep on speaking about Hybetez Remedy. But I'm uncertain if it is good enough to cure your high blood pressure issue inherently .
