I personally wish that everybody did that..... when you make (work) of what you LOVE it is no longer work and you will WANT to do it, not for the money but for the act of doing it and the money will come in other ways ..... ya it's weird but true
@@tjhayes1310 Everytime time i go buy supplies for my business , you always have to think of your bottom line, all my rich clients always think about their money and how to keep from losing it.
Who cares how much their worth? they have worked hard for every cent of it. The fact that they do it for the love of their work is more important than any amout of money. Respect for Chad & Jolene ❤
I'm a newcomer to Chad and Jolene from across the pond, I too build vehicles so I completely understand where they are coming from, the pleasure of hand building a vehicle of your own design and seeing it run and perform as you intended is mind-blowing and to do it on a tiny budget with basic hand skills is even more satisfying.
I come here every night at 6 to watch bad chad and jolene. I like there videos. Have learn alot from them. I watch all there videos. I am a fan!! I guess i was raised to believe that what somebody has is none of my business!!
Man this is old news about Chad, 20K followers, this was uploaded 11 days ago.. he’s at like 120K followers on RU-vid.. long time viewer here and really loves watching Bad Chad and Jolene
I'm happy for them and there fame, it is well earned as far as I can tell . The RU-vid channel is very good, with a great deal of learning capabilities ! Lots of admiration for the two of them !
yes chad is a great guy actually. and you can tell hes such a hard worker. he says "we're gonna take our time on this" and does it in a speed id consider hasty
Hasn't finished a car in over two years and all the cars built during his show supposedly customer builds now sit in his private collection. were there really any customers?
I've said it once and I'll say it again.. anyone who has accepted to film for TV are sellouts.. rather they quit the TV or not, they're sellouts.. just like butt monkeys garage, west coast disasters, sesame street customs, and all the other sellouts. A true custom auto builder just let's his final product do all the talking it needs.
@@ME-zp9co He can do what he wants without having a network looking over his shoulder and trying to script the show. Same with Gas Monkey. There’s no such thing as a “reality” show anymore.
@@KansasCityRainDotCom I agree.. I have yet to see an original design come from his shop... he takes vehicles from builders in the past and then tweaks them just enough to say it's his own creation.. hints the green goblin.. oh or shall I say the Dodge Deora.
if you look at his " Bugatti " you cant even see out the side windows if you are sitting back in the drivers seat, you would need to lean forward 2 foot to see out, thats yet another pile of sh*t that will never see the road.......not legally anyway
There will be no season 3. Do your homework. He had a video on his channel where he did a vlog with these other gear heads. He said he wasn't doing a season 3
His second season was funded, aka not the third, first it was Covid then he says he turned them down, it is pretty amazing he never has any customers, even the tv builds were set up not a customer.
In his recent vid from 3 days ago, Chad stated he no longer does the TV show, doesn't worry about money and he owns every car he has built. He also stated that he will no longer build cars for anyone, not TV or private customers. Good for him, living his best life
I'm a fan of Chad's, not a huge fan of his work but I'm not a hater either. I like that he does almost everything himself. So I watch that I can pick up some trick to doing something that people say you shouldn't do that, lol!
I second both comments He can see and goes for it An no seen him mess up yet lol I messure more than once and still get it wrong llf Welder an a grinder can fix all I say 👍👍👍😜🏴🦕🦄😁✌🤞
Notice, he is never seen actually driving any of his "builds" beyond his property. Because NOT ONE of them can pass inspection and be legally licensed. Check the DMV rules if you doubt.
as far as a rod builder goes no!!! no he doesnt bit he does it gets the job done hot rods need to flow his stuff flows like butter in a freezer its boxy ugly as hell but dows it marter hes got a customer basr that likes non flowing ugly as shit stuff😄😉
use to think it wasnt a bad show on youtube . thought he was abit rough but he admits he covers most things in bondo/bog/filler , but after watching him wreck the chassis on elvis to get pipes threw , i thought he doesnt care bout structure or saftey of others . he only does what he wants n dont care if its wrong . listen carefully to him , his way is best , his way is the quickest n only way . the guys a dick n any car he builds needs to go to an engineer b4 it hits the road with others in it .
I watch his you tube sometimes but his attitude rubs me the wrong way. I see a whole lot of stupid in what he does. I usually hit the mute button and skip ahead a lot because he spends too much time talking about what he's going to do and patting himself on the back. Some of his cars look good but many of them are awkward looking things.
So his work is not up to par ? I'm just a regular guy but I know when you do shit right no one can talk shit so his a hack?? Just wondering so I won't be fooled by his tricks??
@@oggrease7720 if you want to learn this isnt the place . his cars wouldnt be able to be registerd in australia . i do alot of fabrication on cars n bikes have been since early 70s n this bloke would be the roughest ive seen .if you want to learn panel repairs ect watch fitzees he is good not admits if he fucks up .another channel is an aussie bloke called tim johnston he has a heap great vids n dont cut massive holes in chassis to get exhaust pipes threw like bad chad does . tims link here have a watch of a real custom builder ru-vid.com/show-UCk3ppYi7-kKulGv3VnxQAzAvideos . another is howard astill he got vids on a big show/street car he building atm ru-vid.comvideos , well worth the time to watch . cheers
@@alshotrodsandratrods8780 as is mine, and I have my work in magazines and showcase features in NSRA with invites that I've turned down to go to SEMA and have been approached for a TV series in the shop, also turned down.. I do it strictly for the love of the work, not money nor fame.. people know my work and not my face and that's how it should be for an artist.
F*** the money Chad should inspire people that's what he's trying to do. She's trying to teach you not to listen to nobody else follow your dreams the money will just come. And this fast food world reality TV the people live in people are losing their inner thoughts and their dreams.. follow your Passion like Chad did everything else will just fall into place God will take care of you
@@dwalker399 you're right, it's "Bullshit!" but when a decent living space can cost $500k raising a kid could set you back $100k+, a new pickup truck costs $60-90 Grand and the dealership has a labour rate of $125+ a simple oil change at minute-lube runs out over $150, a cheap holiday at an all inclusive in Mexico is $5k and the food is shit and the wine gives you a headache, and a nice pint of beer with your dinner out costs $8 so you can wash down the greasy $25 Fish and Chips you ordered (forget about a good steak, that's $60) and your server demands 20% tip, and filling your tank runs $150 and you have to wash your own windows if the bucket has any water in it, and if you need air in your tire you have to pay $2 and a movie out with your partner costs $50 with popcorn, a drink and a candy bar and your car insurance is $2k, a pair of Chucks costs $75... WTF is a million dollars if you have an entire lifetime ahead of you - it's NOT ENOUGH! Sad but it's true!
@@Anne6621 I feel for the family that has an income below the poverty line - I lived like that in a family of 6 kids, on welfare and a father that had to move us every 6 months because he owed everyone money and all I had was one pair of shit jeans and a couple dirty stained t-shirts, second hand shoes and a winter jacket that couldn't keep me warm enough in the fall or spring. Read the reply to the post below, maybe you'll get a slightly better perspective of where I'm coming from and, none of the things I suggest are in the reach of anyone that earns $14 per hour except maybe air for their tires.
really like their projekts they doing everything with own ideas..like old days..when you had to do everything by your self..everybody isnt rich..thats make cars genuine. I dont live in your country but I have follow your car/racing culture since I was a kid in the sixties...Love it 🇸🇪 I can even practise english also👌
Making a lot of dollars from cutting n shutting cars! 2 old cars welded together full of body filler n fiberglass! What you can do with a cutting disc n a mig welder! N a $50 spray gun.👍
Chad is above all an artist who creates cars and trucks. And people have to try to understand that he doesn't think like average people do. He is not the average body man from the dealership or collision shop. This can be a little frustrating to some people, as he doesn't pay attention to what is considered normal or proper procedures in the shop. Although, he does know about that too. His mind is basically set in the 1950s hotrod genre. But can change just like that and surprise you when he goes anywhere up to modern or futuristic. I've seen one project start and then suddenly stop. That's because he is changing the original idea he had running it over and over to come up with a better idea before continuing. There is one thing for sure, you must sit back and watch to the end before you can say anything.
You can tattoo elec tric on below the gaso line when we are forced to electric cars. Lol. Huh bruh? Or high brid on other fingers. JJ. He is a metal guru. Chad is bad ass with metal working. 👍👍
I'd like to see him take the time to learn engines. He's got lot's of money if he ever needs it in all the cars he made. I'm glad he was smart enough to.make the deal to keep all the cars he made.
Chad is amusing in small doses but most of his "creations" belong in cartoons. Ever wonder why he built a warehouse to store virtually all of them? He claims he wants to keep them but in reality no one wants to buy his overpriced yard art. What DMV would allow them on the road? If you want to check out a true craftsman of custom hot rods, look up Bello's Kustoms. Even Chad should check this guy out for inspiration and technique, especially for the current shell he's working on. ADHiltzD gets tiresome.
