@GretsGarbo and what’s the context? You’re going to just disagree yet not provide anything to back it up? That’s because the context is as it is on the surface. He was concerned about funding arriving to them because he was more afraid of the PLO in the West Bank who he felt had a legitimate shot at creating momentum for an official Palestinian state so propping up Hamas would sow seeds of dissent and keep Palestinians between the two regions divided. There’s your context.
