Netball Skills- Basic Shot Technique

lol i am not a GS or GA but still feel like need to this stuff

They are so good at goal shooting, I practice everyday but I still miss quite a bit.

One thing this video misses is the emphasis on being on the balls of your feet when you go to shoot - I see so many flat footed shooters. Not only are you more likely to get more consistent power in the shot at various distances but also be more ready to move in faster for rebounds etc.

I will try this skills soon. I'm actually a sharp shooter last year, but this year I lost my confident a lot because I'm so stress for being a leader of my team and automatically my shooting skills lost a lot. I hope this kind of skills help me a lot in tomorrow tournament.

I'm 10, and I'm GS (goal shooter) on my school team. Also, I am tall for my age, so, it's kinda hard for the GK (goal keeper) to defend me. To bad for the other teams :P

Hey, im 11 and at my school we have try outs on Monday for netball im so nervous to try out cause i never understand how to plsy but ik a little bit my teacher said i should try out thats what i thought but on the otherside im nervous im gonna ask my sisters to help me play it .....hope i will make it in💖

This is actually good training for basketball since there isn't no backboard you can learn how to swish

I have a match tomorrow (Friday 7 July 2016), so I've been looking for ways to improve my shooting - considering I'm the shooter... In fact, this is my first competition and third time playing netball - so I hope this will help - if it doesn't I wont blame anyone. I've been waiting for the day of my competition since June and I know I should have more confidence but mine is kind of low when it comes to working as a team. I have faith in my team - I'm not saying theres no chance in them, if anything theres no chance in me! I know they'll put me on the bench if not everything turns out so then I know to improve, I don't usually take it as an insult - but anyway. Thanks.

I'm a shooter but for actual basketball, the fundamentals in basketball should absolutely transfer here. Elbow in, wrist loaded, and push ball up for arc. More consistent shooting. Like Klay Thompson

I have been learning netball since I was four.all the girls in my family play my mom gets up every Saturday for games and every Tuesday for training

Im tall what i do is just push the ball up with one hand I showed my technique to my friend that also play for the netball team and they keep scoring now when they do it
