Netflix Channel on Wii (2012)

This was a 2 hour VHS tape I recorded back in 2011 or 2012 (more likely 2012) of various shows on the Wii's Netflix app.
I cut out the content of the actual shows (mostly Curious George and BabyFirst) so I wouldn't get content ID'd, but there's still some good footage here, like the last trace of a lot of Nick series on Netflix before they cancelled their deal with Viacom. Enjoy!

Yeah, same here. Used it for hours and hours on end. (This was back when they had a better selection though, it all went downhill when they started prioritizing original content)

I was given a Wii in early July 2023 and i scrolled back to the previous time it was used on the wmb calendar. The previous owner had turned on Netflix and kept it on for the rest of the day. It literally said "Netflix: 23:59"

the Wii was actually used as an all in one streaming device back in the early years of streaming. You couldve streamed anything with your Wii until 2019 lol

Man Netflix really was a Wild West around this time. Disney, Nickelodeon, Marvel, Dreamworks, whatever else Netflix could pick up. Now most of these are split off into their own streaming services
