Well, both were from Dreamworks & Sony Pictures Animation.

That’s because the film’s origins can be traced all the way back from 2009/2010. After the huge success of the stage musical In the Heights, Lin-Manuel Miranda started work on the film, and soon teamed up with Dreamworks Animation in order to bring the entire feature to life. However, it ultimately fell apart at the beginning of 2015 when a lot of the movies weren’t performing well at the box office and became financial flops (Rise of the Guardians, Turbo, Mr. Peabody & Sherman, Penguins of Madagascar, etc). As a result, they had to close an entire division and be bought out by Comcast to survive, causing Dreamworks Animation to go in downsize, thus cancelling several projects, including Vivo. However, Miranda was not ready to give up on his dream project. In 2016, after the massive success he had with Hamilton, Miranda teamed up with Sony Pictures Animation in order to bring the project back to life. And after a get years of getting the movie back on track, Vivo finally got its chance on the spotlight on August of 2021 on Netflix.

Easter this year will be on the same date as it was that year.

@@ReedBrunson Just like when Columbia used the Sunburst/Abstract Torch twice w/Sony, first on Superbad in 2007, where the Sunburst and AT were behind animation of teenagers moving in the background (colors changed too; the Torch Lady had "A Sony Pictures Entertainment Company" byline on it), and then on American Hustle in 2013, where the S/AT were used once more, but this time, w/the AT having "A Sony Company" under it.
