As a king main i love this character even more, he's truly a good guy in his lore and i'm so glad they actually mention that he'd use the money to build the orphanage. salute to this man
I’m glad King finally got some respect at the end of their fight because all the other main characters treated him like he was a bully whenever he fought them and then Jin finds out he wants to win the money to help children so Jin gives him the money.
Happy to see my man king get the respect he deserves. I was really scared they'd screw him over, but he's a literal beast who wrecked damn near everyone there
If I remember correctly in lore, King won the 4th Tournament, but no doubt here, in Tekken Bloodline, the 4 year training method Armor King put him through payed off for him to place 2nd
He's one of the most respected characters in the Tekken. I've always said if you wanna get good at Tekken, learn king. You don't have to use him, but Lab him he will teach you how to control your timing, button commands and spacing.
@@philgamer9499 actually the tekken timeline Paul Phoenix wins the tournament and beats ogre normal form and goes home but jin kills ogres true form or true ogre which is what really happened
@@blueaero3284 ik thats what the game says but in the netflix show i think xiayou or julia says “King is not who we think he is. The original king was killed by ogre.”
@@brucehammadalee3835 Yeah I know but King 2 sucked at wrestling when he replaced the original so Armour King 1 trained him, if we see him in season 2 he’s probably going to revenge on Marduk for killing his master.
@@blueaero3284 well they didnt mention anything ab armor king in the prior tournament even tho he was in t2. And julia i think said King 1 took him in saving him from a life on the streets which is still a reason to fight the monster that killed him.
On one hand, it seemed like Paul Phoenix would’ve been the better choice to fight Jin. He shared a conversation with Jin, said to be on par with Kazuya and even defeated Ogre’s first form in the third game. But King in this mini-series was well respected and had a fight with Xiao. Their similar upbringing left to a foil for Jin.
@Ares 0160 Probably, if you want to stick to canon. But that said, having King II be the final opponent still makes sense given the overarching story for Jin here
I liked it this way because Tekken 3 was supposed to be about a new generation of fighters. Sure Paul was a veteran but, it felt right that it ended with Jin vs King II.
Look paul should of been the fight im not suprized they went with king i liled it but they could of had him fight paul win and gove king tje earnimgs anyway. Js he didnt have to fight jin last to get the earnings. They could of made it so jin would of done it anyway. Still a good fight
Be like the original king guys, outstanding guy that runs an orphanage and make peace with his rival armor king. The fact that this king is an orphan child that grew up admiring the original tekken 1-2 king, trained by noneother than armor king, and taking up his mask and run the orphanage after the original king was killed by ogre is truly admirable.
Imagine if I’m tekken 8, jin could switch between kazama style/kyokushin to Mishima style at will. Imagine his omen stance but you could use Mishima style as long as you wanted to and then use his mental alertness /zen stance to switch back to his kazama/kyokushin style. That would essentially keep Heihachi alive as Jin uses the same stance as Heihachi when he uses his omen stance.
@@Hitomora And his father's 10 hit combo that ends with a lightning screw uppercut . Used it on Heihachi during their training and he used it on Hwoarang . He used his B string 11 hit combo on Heichaci in their fight .
I have not seen this show yet, so I thought hearing King grunt like a normal person instead of a jaguar would be the most cursed thing in this clip. *Then hwoarang spoke english.*
King did not earn the right to fight Ogre. These fighters may have morivation or beef, but they are still honorable. Also King's main priority seems to be raising money for his orphanage.
Is anyone gonna acknowledge how much of a BEAST Jin is? He fought King, Heihachi, and Ogre CONSECUTIVELY. He didn't use the devil gene until ogre. Those are all Kazuya level fighters
Sadly a lot of fights were skipped because of the short episodes. Anna was in the tournament yet we never saw her face Nina which is sad. We also didn't see Paul vs Kuma which would be a cool match to see.
@@klockenberg2299 I know but no one knew he was going to do that, I mean they didn’t know what King was going to use it for either but we did and we should have felt bad for him when he lost. Especially when we didn’t know Jin was going to give him the money. ^^’
pay attention. the more Jin fights the more he draws out ogre. that wasnt Jins doing. That was DEVIL Devil is masterminding shit from behind the scenes. Every demon drawn out gets defeated & has its power transferred to devil hence why Dvj can use telekinesis in t4 ending. Devil snatched that from ogre. man its not factual but over the years ive picked this up cuz im a lore head. Highly doubt its true but its also prevalent in the games especially endings
Do you think Jin kazama defeated ogre with his own strength or did he use the devil gene to defeat him? Im a huge lore myself when it comes to tekken but in this series I'm kinda confused of how the devil gene works. I thought in order to use the devil gene power they would have to transform.
@@toryholmes6111 no i feel like his Angel side kicked in and Heihachi mistaken that for devil power. If you read the tekken 7 comic, some time before 6, Jin was able to capture Angel and store her away in a mishima facility to keep her out of the way of him reviving Azazel. heihachi knew of that familiarity with Angelic power because he’s seen it when Jin fought Ogre. He sensed the supernatural power thats why he shot him, thats also why he knew to take Angels power in the comic HENCE THE WHITE LIGHT AROUND HEIHACHI IN THE t7 FINAL BATTLE HE CRIED IN THE STORY BECAUSE HE KNEW HE’D FUCKED UP DOING THAT AND IT WASNT GOING TO WORK FOR HIM AS IT DID JIN. its in that kazama blood I feel like thats the same method Kazuya used when he rescued Jun from Ogre. ( thats where ttt1 Devil ending comes in)
@@toryholmes6111 my kazuya saving Jun theory is explained above. He took her to hell, attached the wolf demon to her and if she was ever to escape, that wolf would absorb her and bring her back to HELL.
SO... Jun ~ 50 kilogramm/119lbs can armbar Ancient Ogre who his a giant massive alien god of fighting. But King, 90 kilogramm, professional wresler, master of grappling can't armbar Jin kazama 18yrs who just literraly back up like nothing happen lol. Technicaly, at this move, King win the fight X)
I’d like to think Paul wasn’t “hungry” as king, Paul was doing it just to fight and be the best … king and Jin had something deeper to fight for … Leroy prob would’ve made it just as far but he unfortunately got Matched up with jin (and did damn good against him) in first round.
@@MisterImpolite i mean Paul was undeafeted in T3 and was unofficially the King of Iron first T3. Fighting to be the best is something Goku does in Dragon ball Z Paul shoud've atleast beat Ogre and then moments later True Ogre vs Jin.
This man Jin whooped everyone ass including ogre/true ogre all in about a day or two 😂 sustaining all that damage and overcame. The plot was too obvious
Jin has been unstoppable for a while when he actually is focused and wants to fight. I still don’t get how Kazuya will stand a chance in T8, but i’m sure they’ll try to nerf Jin down to his level.
Ahmad Adnan How? Jin beats Ogre in T3. Then whoops powered up Kazuya and Heihachi back to back in T4. In T5 Jin beats Jinpachi. In T6 Jin beats Azazel. In T7 kazuya barely beats Heihachi. On what grounds is Kazuya a million times better fighter?
Overall animation was good but not great. Kind of hoped we could get at least Baki or Kengan level of animation, but I guess this is the Tekken's limit.
Jin looks young as he supposed, the game has the jojo part 3 design choice. One the other hand, Xiaoyu look mature as if the writers think she's a Chinese interpol officer fighting shadolo or something.
