Transformers Theory: The Story of Mirage: Siding with the Decepticons then turned Autobot later on, it sounds like a similar story of Drift when he turned to the Autobots. Also I hope Drift will appear in the War for Cybertron Trilogy Toyline.

Well GuidoGuidi did draw a version of drift in the generation 1 art style based off of g1 Springer so maybe they could just retool war for Cybertron (siege) Springer (I say retool cuz I repaint would be boring)

I remember watching that episode where Cliffjumer thought Mirage was a traitor. I have a feeling that mirage got tired of working alongside the Autobots, and wanted to join sides with the Decepticons

Rewatching this and SPOILERS for those who don't know: During Episode 3, there's a scene where Mirage is disguised as a Decepticon and says he's got a lead on an Autobot campsite nearby. Impactor, Skytread, Barricade and Spinister agree to go with him. While they're chatting, Mirage's disguise starts to falter. Spinister asks what happened, and Mirage says, "It's nothing, a malfunction." Then his disguise fully goes away and they start to attack him. This new figure is supposed to be Mirage in said disguise.

I bought 2 Ultra Magnus because I wanted that all white version without the armor as well as the full armored character. Also he was only $13 at a aftermarket store.

The shattered glass concept was always fascinating to me because I always wondered what would happen if shattered glass Megatron met Optimus Prime. Also great review Paul; another home run.👍👍👍

It's tricky to put together, but mirage was a very wealthy merchant before the wars began. That's cannon. It's also heavily speculated in original idw, but semi eluded to, that he originally was a con because he didn't like the status quo under sentinel. Then he saw what the cause read becoming and switched sides.

Sometimes, repaints of the same character can be quite interesting, they've done it for the whole Netflix line, looks like the Autobots have a dirtier look to them, like Sideswipe and Hound, but there are others, seen them at Walmart myself. Cool review, Paul!

I got Netflix's Decepticon Mirage a few days ago at Walmart. I honestly prefer the Decepticon recolor over the Siege Autobot Mirage. The purple/blue/grey color scheme is awesome, the battle scuff mark is a cool detail. Maybe this toy is him as the Autobot going uncover as a Decepticon, a tailor to the Autobot cause, or a Decepticon that will become the Autobot we all know him as. I'm leaning on the Autobot spy option. I got two of him luckily. One out on display fighting Cliffjumper, and the other in storage my Decepticon collection for preservation.

Picked this one up cause I couldn't find the regular seige figure,this one looks ok but I think on the seige of the alt more version the Autobots symbol is on the front and the decepticon logo is upside down on the rear.

I've been happy with my original Classics version, so I skipped on the original version of this one, but this paint job looks beyond anything we usually get from mainline Hasbro stuff.

Man I saw Cliffjumper accusing mirage of treason in G1 episode traitor and Cliffjumper is right. This mirage is a traitorous got that works for the decepticon Jets and that evil alien jet megatron.
