Same I had dvd players when I was little so I watched a lot of Disney movies back then and watched some Disney junior shows now with having Disney plus these past few years I got more into Disney it’s great I also like Netflix for their shows and movies to there really great but prime video idk I don’t really use it we just have it cause my mom has Amazon prime
I don't have the best internet service and that being said netflick and disney load right up, while prime lags behind and sometimes just does not want to connect.
For me Netflix used to be no. one but these days comes in easily last.Netflix is way too expensive for 4k.Prime,Disney+ and Paramount+ much better.I think i will drop Netflix in 2023.
You should mention that these are Canadian prices. You should move that light so it’s not pointed so directly at the camera. I like HBO Max a lot. It has a “last chance” section so I know what’s leaving at a glance without having to research it and each movie that I’ve seen has an indicator, which is nice because it’s sometimes hard to remember.
I have Netflix and Prime video but only pay for Netflix because my sister pays for Prime video and we share the accounts, since we can create multiple profiles sharing accounts is easy, also pay for Apple TV+ which imo is an amazing deal at $50 a year (that's less than $5 a month), and although it doesn't have nowhere near as much content as Netflix and Prime video the exclusives it has are great and there is a lot coming up.
I got Prime simply because I order stuff and I wanted to watch the boys. Aside from that it's shit platform because you only get small amount of selection. They make you pay for everything else which is dumb.
Yea....just cancelled my Disney plus....was already thinking on it when they went after password sharing, crap new content then they dropped the bomb they were raising prices....put the nail in their coffin for me.
I also have all three of the streaming services - Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime. Amazon Prime video I have because I am a member and buy allot of Prime items on Amazon with their fast shipping. So Prime video is included with it. Allot of the video content with Amazon we have to pay extra for. Most the free content I have seen many times. The other two I have for their different Content. If they get to costly, It is easy to cancel anytime because of no contracts involved. As we all know, prices continue to go up on everything in Streaming, so it depends on how much you are willing to spend. Remember it is illegal to give out passwords to share streaming venues. Keep reading people are sharing - All I say is don't get caught. Netflix is one trying to crack down on this.
I still favor Netflix, 20 bucks a month is basically nothing compared to what we were giving those cable assholes some 10+ years ago. People need to stop complaining about a few bucks.
Not to mention the US Vs. Canadian content differences ( More options in the US one than the rest of the world including good old Canada ironically enough. For the record, I cancelled Netflix and Disney and kept Amazon Prime/Apple TV +.
Tbh I watched some show on Disney and Netflix the animation was better on Netflix the voice acting on Netflix was way better and it was the same show but less quality on disney
Thanks for that. I agree with this survey and final results. I've only subscribed to Netflix but don't as often now. I don't pay every month, just here and there. I did Amazon Prime. But maybe for only 2 months. I've never subscribed to Disney Plus and probably won't. Too much greed and bad word of mouth has turned me off anything Disney. Also, they make crappy movies as of recent. The whole woke agenda has really turn me off too.
Great video, however you miss to include apple tv + which is also becoming an important streaming service which has already won an oscar with Coda and have many original movies and tv shows exclusively on their platform with some of the biggest actors. Like you said which is the best, depends on your interests and budget, however I find that discoveryplus which focuses on non-fiction detective series, is great, has affordable prices (supported by ads). Amazon Prime I have it mostly due to Prime itself although I do like the fact they have cool series such as Arrow, however outside of their prime original content, most movies and series are old unless you pay for channels, which make it more expensive. Disney plus seems to be the weakest stream service for me, as most of the content is aimed for children, although I wish Netflix had a year subscription saving such as prime and disney.
This whole move to add ads to their streaming is bullshit especially with Amazon. They’ve got a million shows but only about five percent are worth watching. The original content that nearly bankrupted their content division was all bozo’s fault. They took old content and beloved based on novels movies and series and loaded it up with dei messaging so it was awful. I say screw Amazon. As far as the breaks in content for the ads, you can put about as much faith in the promise that the ads won’t be long or intrusive as you can that the seas are going to rise fifty feet by 2030. And last I looked Bozo, Gates and the rest of the billionaires were still buying ocean front. I’ll keep prime for the shipping but Hulu and Disney are over as far as I’m concerned. Their content is even worse. Disney handed over their writing dept to every lunatic fringe of the progressive party and all they have is lgbtq crappy content now on every show and they target kids with it despite repeated outcry from parents. Netflix is the only one that still produces passable entertainment that’s not constant propaganda for the far left. So I’m down to Netflix and hbomax. If this keeps up I’m going back to buying Blu-ray and paying for only what I want to watch. These bidding wars that went on for old content is what enabled this mess to start with. It’s greed by the hedge fund class and Hollywood that needs reminding who pays the subscription plans. I’m tired of paying to be preached at and told I’m a danger to the democracy by those that benefit most by my money.
