I disagree with Didi over the Dutch's 'poor' performance in the first half...It was not a poor showing at all, Turkey are a relentless outfit and it was hardly terrible defending which resulted in the goal...and they started well...I also think Koeman has totally rebuilt the backline...Now as for England they played better and were stronger in the press and the midfield battle...The Swiss were awful though...The Dutch have rebuilt since the Austria defeat so well, they defend with great competence as said and attack with speed...How England defend against the latter will decide the match...
It's Turkey in English, though. We shouldn't change our language just because they are so silly to think 'Turkey' gets confused with 'a turkey', which it doesn't!
Could have gone either way, one manager was brave enough to change players early and other wasn’t that was the difference, for the sake of football I hope Dutch teach a lesson to Boringland.
Football gods smiled on the Dutch today. 2 goals out of 2 attacks in 10 minutes. Otherwise they were rubbish. Turkey deserved at least extra time. Better hopes for England for final.
The netherlands dominated the game. The turks had some good counters but only scored from a set piece, again. Because they are just bang avarage in their field play
