The netravathi peak trip is the most popular and attractive trekking among the circles of southern India and it has become more attractive place recently as an alternative to kudremukha peak.
The netravathi is located in chikmagalur district and is sandwiched between samse village and belathangady.
The Netravathi trek gets its name from the River, which originates at the base of the Netravathi peak.
This is one of the few treks in karnataka with excellent views throughout the trek. With rolling shola grasslands on all sides of the trek. From the summit, you get a birds-eye view of the smaller towns in belthangady town
The trek can be done by fit beginners. It will test your endurance, even if you an experienced trekker. Just like you, we love trekking! And this is a trek we've documented in great detail to help you do it on your own.

Opens Everyday : 6:00 AM TO 11:00 AM
Guide : Guide mandatory, One guide is required for every group of 10 persons and 1000rs charge
Best Time To Visit : June to February.

Pack some snack to top and reach the trek starting point and also carry sufficient water because its 12km hiking on single side, (One humble request, Don't through any plastics or wastage anywhere in the middle of trek)
