You have created another GREAT design & BEAUTIFUL piece! So again, I THANK YOU for using ur precious time, resources, knowledge, & skills to teach all of us! Looking forward to making one right now! Best Wishes to You!
Just got back from a Irish women's convention where a wonderfully talented woman made these kind of awesome bracelets for charity. They looked so complicated and difficult and I am just a beginning bead person making golf bead counters that can double as bracelets with large hole beads. These looked intimidated as all get out yet you patiently and enthusiastically whipped this one out in no time. So impressed! Thank you and I realize now that it is not beyond my capability!
Well... lot's of reasons, some people just think it isn't pretty, or they still can't follow the pattern and are frustrated by it, Some people are jealous and some people by accident hit thumbs down when they meant to hit thumbs up, and some people are just cranky miserable people that hate the world and have nothing better to do than thumb down all day long :-) I think that about sums it up why people thumb down something LOL
I've been beading for years but just this month I finally got my computer online and found your tutorial. You made it look so easy that i'm going to order some beads and try it for myself. Thank you so much. Love learning new designs.
I have done this necklace before, but I didn’t use Swarovski because it’s very expensive. One bag of 6mm Swarovski cost $6.99 & only contain 15 pieces . Nice project, I really like it , thank you for sharing ❤️👍🏼🥰😍💪🏼
What a refresher for me, I can watch your tutorials over and over again! Actually I made one with a red BICONE about a year or so ago! Now since watching this, I am dying to make another!! Thank you for your tutorials
This bracelet was my first beading project. I love that the bracelet looks so complex and elegant but it's really simple to make. I like your tutorials partly because of the memories I have of my grandmother and my mama sitting at the kitchen table drinking their coffee after breakfast, just talking and sipping and crocheting or knitting until it was time for lunch again. Their honesty, it stings sometimes, but it's better than sitting around with a liar any day. Because Mama and Oma are German, they sound different, but I watch these and I think of them trying to teach me about yarn with that wonderful accent. :D I also like the tutorials because the video quality is really great! I have been in video and audio production for 15 years, and I know when someone's been studying! They're very clear and you put them together so well. If I see another project from someone else that I want to try, I always check and see, "does Gianna have something like this?" You're my go to! lol Thank you so much and keep them coming! :)
LOL "Does Gianna have something like this? " Funny.... Reminds me of the moments I went "Hmmm... what would Sam Beckett do" :-) I'm glad though you have such wonderful childhood memories. :-) Grans-moms are the most precious mommy's mom's we have :-)
I just wanted to thank you for such a great video. I was having a difficult time finding a way to complete my necklace. I’m very happy on how it turned out. Thanks again.
:-) Glad you found it Sylvie, this is the talkie youtube channel, the other one is the main channel for more advanced beaders. I'm trying to get all the basics done here. Eventually it will work it's way up for more advanced but I don't think any time soon :-)
I absolutely love your videos. I am making this one today. Your videos are so clear and easy to follow. I hope you continue to post more. Thank you a million times for sharing your gift of jewelry making with us!!!!!!
Thanks so much for providing beautiful vintage glam jewelry tutorials! Making it easier for all of us to express our love of beautiful jewelry! Keep it up!
about being left handed. usually if a pattern says, " put into the next bead on the right, I'd automatically do the left one, but actually following what you do, is easier than reading a pattern. Your tutorials are a lot easier than others that I've seen. Thank you
I would like to say, that I love watching your tutorials. You are so informative, and your photography and audio are very clear.Your detail in your description of what you are doing is very thorough, and I am looking forward to completing some of your projects. I am a new beader, but I am in love with this medium. I paint and do collage jewelry but beading is my next step, and I am already addicted to it.Thank you and I can't wait to try this. I just got a bunch of swar. from china so here we go.
Surprised by how simple this is to make...I had a little trouble keeping my thread tight, while getting it started then it was so easy! My first time making a netted bracelet...I will make lots more! Thank you so much for sharing!💖
I love all the extra work you do to make your work more secure. Using a different thread to attach the metalwork. I do a double loop on the wire just for extra security and I also make double jump. Thank you for sharing. rings.
You're welcome Laure, yes I will post more but right now I have done something for the macrame channel, so bit busy with that and due to heat, it has been impossible to get much done at all :-/
Thanks Irene, I get that a lot people tripping over certain things trying to do them over and over but somehow it just doesnt "click". I am glad I remember myself where most things didn't compute in my brain, especially the stepping up in tubular peyote left me in total frustration for a long time. So I'm very carefully going in to detail about everything :-) I had some comments my video's are too long, but I don't care. I just want to make sure all T's are crossed and I's are dotted :-)
You have taught me SO much. You are my "go to" person for all my beading projects. Thank you SO very much for your time and effort in making these videos for all of us! Thanks you thank you thank you.
I love love love your video. I have a lot of 6 mm bicones leftover from my clutch beads projects few months back. Now I know what to do with that leftovers. Thank you for inspiring me. Hugs from Indonesia
Positively exquisite!!. Looks so sophisticated. You are a marvelous instructor, to boot. I think I will be trying my hand at this one, to be a Christmas gift. I am giddy with excitement. Best get myself a few more Swarvoski. Thank you so very much!!
I was linked in, from Susan of "Turtle Soup Beads" , while I was watching her Shibori Pendant Tutorial. This is an awesome piece of Jewelry and your teaching methods are great for a novice mixed media artist. Thank you!
I just reread my comment and I need to reiterate; I did not think I could execute this process because I am a "novice mixed media artist", but your teaching method is so thorough that I have confidence in trying this, at the age of 65 my brain takes off slowly, and steadily accelerates...lol, again Thank you.
I made this after learning from you; I made 3 of themI using Emerald Green swarovski, Siam Red and Sapphire Blue. They were so beautiful! Thanks for instructions! I used toggle clasps for ease. Now I would use magnetic clasps.
Hello, I would like to thank you sooo much for the B4Pbackup channel. I like your other channel, but I absolutely love this channel. I struggle with still pictures but do so much better with motion pictures. Thank you! My daughter and I bead together from this channel. Thank you!
armspan is when you open your arms wide (like you are planning on hugging someone :-) It's about a meter wide, but if I would talk meters people would want me to talk inches too and I don't know so I just say span those arms wide holding your thread in one hand. No I have no idea 18 to 20 inches, my mind works in centimeters and even than I still wouldn't know. I would suggest some cheap 6mm beads from the local craftstore to test it out
Going on vacation, and will actually have time to sit and try this. I've never done beaded weaving, so I'm a little scared... Wish me luck! I LOVE this design. Thanks for sharing!
I Love the way you finish things off so PROFESSIONALLY with the pearl, the dangling crystal and ensuring this will last a lifetime - it's a LOT of work to risk having something break due to sloppy work!!! I do have one teeny suggestion - a couple of places when you worked you were off the screen at the bottom - I am pretty sure I can fill in the gaps and I know you get so involved that when you work it's only natural to draw the work closer to I LOVE YOUR TUTORIALS THANKS
Thank you for posting this. When we were in Florida I bought 3 of these bracelets and want more. Soon I'll try making one myself. I should do fine because your videos are clear and easy to comprehend. You are very talented!
thank you. i did a wonderful one in orange swarovski, gold, and bronze. it came out beautiful. i was so dang proud of it. you would have to sell it for a good amount with all that swarovski in it, i would think. i wanted something for fall and this turned out great. i can't wait to watch another one and try that.
Hello Gianna my teacher, I just finished this netted bracelet. I used black bicones (4mm), gun metal (11/0), silver accents (11/0) and on the end black rounds (6/0). thank you for a wonderful instruction, I will add a picture to your FB page. I don't know if I will keep it but I think it turned out great. Thank you again Thomas
No I get nylon at the local veadstore but you can also find it at a fishings sports store, and when I really am out of it and my local store doesn't have it, yes I go on ebay :-)
I am going to make this bracelet; right now it is so beautiful I need a nice piece to donate to the Elks for the Casey eye clinic. I am so excited to get this started
I just found your video tutorials and am very happy I did. You are very clear with what you are doing. Beautiful work also. This bracelet looks like it would be so hard to do but with your instructions I'm not intimidated to try it. I have viewed a few videos already and am looking for more to watch. Thanks again!!
Beautiful project! I have a suggestion though, if I may: every once in a while, when you get very involved in a part of the process, your hands stray out of camera range. I think if you draw yourself an outline of some sort, within the camera's window, it would automatically keep your hands within range at all times. You could even make that outline just outside of the camera's actual field of view. Just a thought... from one perfectionist to another. :)
+luvemcats888 I tried that. I even made a video about that on how it looks on my side of the camera and how big exactly that frame is I work in ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X-sm3DSQvX8.html
Well done as usual. I just want to say I really respect you as a person. Yes I love your talent and you have a very good head on your shoulders. You know how to get it done, I respect that! They say what you see in others you have in yourself I hope this is true I’m ready to start my business selling jewelry that I have made. Thank you for inspiration as well as Teresa (tsummerlee) and some others. You guy’s are great and freely share while trying to survive. Best wishes, Deborah
Beautiful hands and your instructions are sooo wonderful. I have had crystals in my stash for so long and finally a bracelet and instruction I love. Thank You so much for posting.
Gianna, thank you so much for the inspiration.. I have been admiring this bracelet for some time and I finally sat down and made it today. I am only a beginner but your videos have been a great help. I made this bracelet with 4mm bicones and seed beads. I used fireline but found the bracelet was too loose even though I kept pulling tight... :( I started over and this time I doubled my fireline and it turned out brilliant. Many, many thanks..
Thank you for showing this pattern, I'm left handed and find it quite hard to follow a written pattern but you have made this one seem easy, so next week when I go tot he bead shop, I'l be getting those bicones!
I really like this. My mother's birthday is at the end of the month and I've been looking for something to do for her, and this just might be the one! Thanks!
I absolutely love this!! I live on an Army base and there isnt any thing around here so im browsing online to find me beads in bulk! Thank you for sharing your craft
Absolutely beautiful! I've always wanted to make a net stitch bracelet; however it always looked so difficult to make from reading written instructions. Glad you took the time to do a video. Doesn't look that hard; although it looks like making the clasp is a bit of work.
I learn more about beading by watching you on my phone.its so interesting to me how to put the beads together, for the different designs I will keep watching you I'm a fan thank you so much.my name is JackieL.Smith I leave in moultrie ga
Thank you for sharing this video and teaching explicitly. I love it. I made one with white pearls according to your instructions and it turned out gorgeous. I am making exact same one as yours now and although not finished, I already love it. THANK YOU!!!
Hi B4Pbakup, I am an aspiring 'beader' and jewelry maker and your tutorials have really helped me to perfect my stitches and use of resources when making my woven items. For example arm spans rather than metric length, is so down to earth and really helpful to eliminate the time it takes for measure longer items. I have recently uploaded my first video showcasing my items I've made over time and would really appreciate you feedback ( being an experienced beaded) as well as any advice.:) thanks
i don't have a shop, :-) DOn't worry about the end... You can worry about it when you get there. I think you will do fine, if not you can always ask me :-)
