Hey there, Your new truck is awesome, wish we had trucks like that over here in Britain. A few videos ago you were saying that the Extreme APs at your work are gonna go EoL, I’d be interested to hear whether you’re gonna replace them with, newer Extreme APs or another vendor? Cheers for the videos and have a great Easter. God bless
Thanks, glad you're enjoying the content. As far as the APs we are going to stick with Extreme Networks products. We'll be doing videos on that in the near future. God bless!
Happy Easter (I'm not a religious person, me and God don't get on, after Afghanistan, we don't talk anymore ) :) Love the videos. But with your extreme network you can offer a VLAN anywhere within the fabric, (that's the whole point) My companies move printers all the time. but they MUST tell me as the port they plug into as it will be in a different VLAN.
In most cases the fabric can do that. But it ends up calling the VLAN things like VLAN_0123 rather than the VLAN names I have given them. I don't always remember what vlan 123 is but if I see the label, TIMECLOCKS, then I know what that VLAN is for. We have over 200 VLANs so I can't keep them all in my head. Plus we have some switches that are daisy chained 3 sometimes 4 deep. Fabric doesn't penetrate that far in our environment. Unless you know a way? I'd love to learn that! Believe it or not, God still gets along with you. God bless!
Impressed with the Ram trucks having auxiliary switches. I've been curious about getting licensed to be a Ham Radio Operator for quite some time. What's the process you went through to get licensed?
Search on the Internet for a Ham club local to your area. They can steer you toward locations that do training and testing. You have to take an exam, if you pass, you get your license. I took some online classes and kept testing until I passed. Then I went in for the actual test. God bless!
had a simular situation as you did regarding a printer. It ended up being an auto negotiate issue. Hard coding the nic and switch port to the same speed/duplex fixed it
That could very well be what the problem was. They are 100M devices. I didn't think to try turning auto negotiation off. I'll try that next time. God bless!
Greetings from Azerbaijan, I love California very much, because my previous profile was closed, I opened a new one and subscribed to your channel again
That part of the install is pretty Oakie. The antenna cable just runs up and out the side of the center console, under the passenger seat, under the rear floor mat, under the rear seat, up to the rear seat belt anchor, around it once, and then gets slammed in the rear passenger-side door. Then routes to the center back of the roof. The antenna cable is about the size of a slim-run ethernet cable. The antenna itself is almost invisible it's so small and thin. Antenna: mfjenterprises.com/products/mfj-1722s God bless!
I am old enough that I don't tell people my age. I also don't discuss my salary. It's considered rude to ask a man how much money he makes. You can look up salary ranges on the Internet. God bless!
Just my 2 cents, but I don't think I'll make too much of a difference. I think it might hurt customer service a little bit, but a lot of IT is physical. There's also a lot of time for those models to improve to the point of being on par with a person.
@TheNodeChannel is right in my opinion. There is no AI around that can go out and plug in a patch cable. Developers have more to fear that network admins. God bless!
Grace & Peace 2 U and your family 2 day brother! Happy Resurrection day!!! HE is risen Indeed!!! Thank you Jesus!! Thanks 4 another great video this week. I love hearing about the network issues and I do take note of the scenarios you run into in case I ever run into the same or similar issues👌🏽 You got a very nice truck there too! Engine is nice and clean and plenty of power to boot! Well once again, thank you and all of our brothers and sisters in Christ for the continued prayers and I am praying for us all. Be well, be safe and God Bless!🙏🏽
The prayers will keep coming as long as you need them. Even if you don't! One of the side benefits of this channel is showing that everyone everywhere has the same problems! God bless!
