Hi Abeni, thanks for watching! To answer your question, for the animation at 58:20, we wrote a Python script that would solve a route to those five stops for every 5 or 15 minutes across a day using historical traffic data. From there, we appended all the output routes into one large line feature class, symbolized the route lines using that purple color setup, and used the Time Slider to show one route at a time. Playing the routes through ArcMap took a while to render, so to speed it up, we recorded the screen using Camtasia and then sped up the playback speed before producing the final video. thanks a lot but how can i write the codes? can i do that on visual basic software? or what? or is there any means of getting the codes? i really want to do this animation, i want to use it for my senior project presentation on slides. btw my topic is gis based network analysis for the identification of shortest route to nearest medical facility. if there is a chance of contacting with you please help. email or anything please drop :)
