All that matters is how good the translation is. That's even more important than detail. You can't hear much detail on NS10s but they've been an industry standard for decades. So, the question is how does the headphone mix sound outside the studio. It can never be exact of course, but is it really close?
Yes, comfort matters too. The confidence that it will translate is vital as you say. But with the audience mostly listening to headphones it’s vital that one checks the work on headphones
At Deadfall brewing we record artists live and headphones are the make or break for how well we grabbed the mix live. Would be interesting to try these.
I own several Neumann products, annd although I don’t have any headphones of theirs, these seem to be pretty fantastic. I’ve never bought anything from Norman and I didn’t like.
