Running Modular rig controlled by MPC Thru Neural DSP Quad Cortex for an end-of-chain ambient effects.
Main voice is 4MS Spherical Wavetable Navigator controlled by MPC X CV outs (sending MIDI from Arturia Keystep Pro)
In Quad Cortex I’m running a simple analog delay into a Shimmer Reverb

When I was daydreaming about a modern ppg realized type device I realized quickly that something like the neural dsp or kemper could easily be modified to do this. You could profile eurorack modules and entire moog modular units. And if a more powerful unit was created with a massive touch screen, more knobs for all the parameters, more dsp power and memory, with controls and software that was catered to synths and keyboards, you could end up with the capability of making any patch you can think of all on a little neural dsp unit. Literally anything. They could even make a semi modular style walnut end cap keyboard neural dsp unit made to look like a vintage synth. The knobs and faders all control different parameters of the profiled modules, with the touch screen giving more control and letting you see the patch. With a patch board on the unit you could add the neural dsp synth into existing setups and make patches with real hardware mixed in. Letting you have extreme control over things that wouldn’t normally be possible, like using parts of non modular keyboards as modular modules.
