Where have you been, Ryan?! I’m so happy your updates are back.

The future is bright for Neuralink. So it’s the future use of the so-called psychedelics. They absolutely make a difference in depression, PTSD, anxiety and addiction. Their success rate is extraordinarily high.

As someone with an L1 spinal cord injury, although I can walk I still don’t have movement in parts of my legs and this neura link progress is giving me a ton of hope. Can’t understand why ppl hate on Elon tbh

I love the short term goal because it will lighten some people's burdens and I can see some psychotherapy related applications as well. Biofeedback has proven a to be a great tool for teaching people to learn how to use their brains well. We have so many illusions to poke through before we can see the big picture and just be thankful to be a part in it. We need to heal all sorts of trauma and I see a role for a machine brain interface there.

If Elon is intending to use the pin array on the neurallink implant as a phased array antenna he/they may be able to demux the the impulses of a single dendritic connective but this penertrative/invasive methodology will top out very soon in my opinion top down may take just as long but offers many more potential wins along the way IE generalized states

This time what went on in Vegas will not stay in Vegas!! I met both Britney Spears and Elon Musk in 2000 at Bellagio. Britney just stared at me as she was singing on stage and I was standing in an archway above and nearby. I'm not sure if I was supposed to be standing up there by myself but I did have her undivided attention. A few days later Elon came up to me and started asking me questions about what I was doing there, in Las Vegas and Hawaii during that time. If I would I be fine answering a few questions. And if I was a gambling man? I stated, "I was on vacation and I only like to bet on things that are worth betting on!" I had earned these trips by qualifying reward points at my work. He asked, "What kind of work is it that you do?" I said, "Commercial energy saving promotions but I had been schooled in Automotive Marketing Business Administration and worked in that field for several years as well." He asked me, "If I had millions of dollars to spend what would be the most innovative businesses that could help humanity?" We talked about electric cars, we talked about solar energy and so many other subjects for over an hour. Even commercial space exploration for the consideration of colonization. That way all of humanity's eggs are not in one basket in case of another world war, asteroid strike, major climate change, etc. These we're very expensive and ambitious businesses to become successful at. Therefore we had to talk about ways of keeping a low overhead in advertising, distribution and the manufacturing. He said, "They were all very good ideas and that they should be done!" He said he had already made hundreds of millions off of a couple internet companies he started. "One of them was PayPal," he stated. Not that I had really done a lot of online banking or e-transfers at that time I didn't think much of it, until I noticed online about a year later that I could buy something off the computer with my PayPal card! Unfortunately I had just received a promotion as regional manager with the company I was working with. This made me let Elon know that I had to wait for a few years before I could assist further. I keep on sending out messages, hoping that he will get one and reply back. I will probably have to keep on trying, he gets more messages in a day then I would in five years! It is very inspiring to me to have a conversation with someone and they dedicate the next 20 years to making our conversation reality! We also talked about becoming your own best supplier and starting businesses that help your existing business. A type of slingshot effect that he has incorporated very well. It is so ambitious and amazing that he was willing to put pretty much all of his money where his mouth is and just make it happen with a consistent dedication. Congratulations Elon and I am looking forward to working with you again, one day in the near future! I still come up with innovative business ideas on a daily basis. Of course Britney I always wish her well and would enjoy meeting her again as well. Let's shoot for the Moon then Mars and then we will end up amongst the Stars! Oh Thank Goodness we can get big government directly controlling our brains. What a blessing. I was starting to get concerned that the NSA watching & tracking us wasn't invasive enough. This is what we need as a society that isn't already lazy and stupid. The EMF & RF boiling our brains from the inside over time, sounds just swell!

I don't know much about neuralink. It sounds so cool and futuristic. My thought is. is my brain activity tracked? If I have a thought or memory, will they eventually be able to know every thought and memory I've ever thought and save it to a hard drive? No matter what the advances in technology it always has a huge positive and negative.

We already order pizza with our minds. Then our fingers and voice.

I like what Elon is doing in the fields of science. When I hear Neuralink I think of a line in an anime called Appleseed. The line is "I am Halcon, We are Halcon." and it makes me LMAO. But he is definitely pushing the envelope in our understanding of a lot of fields. So I guess we're "Chipping In", I'd be up for it.

I having a million kids thing for me is about the quality of the parent. Even if he was in an open and honest poly relationship, having so many kids makes it hard to be a good parent, and that is for a person being a stay at home parent! Between all of his companies, he wouldn't even have time for one of his children, much less a dozen. All of that said - I'm hoping for the best for Neuralink and SpaceX

I have ptsd, it’s bad, I can’t even sleep when I want to rest, I don’t do drugs, I refuse to feel aweful on pills and hope this could make me feel better. I’m not a fan of psychedelics, they can be dangerous, im not sure I’d want to mess with something like that when I’m already very messed up from what I’m enduring and what have experienced, it’s not as targeted

I don't agree with the long term goal. There is no collective will. Will is self serving and will never converge. Democracy aims for an average will and will be when successful like the average fighter pilot seat that doesn't fit anyone. It attempts to piss everybody of evenly. I don't think our end goal should be to unite our will. It should be to show our will to be based on an illusion of separation, which presses our survival button. We need each other to survive AND to have a full live and we need to reduce the apparent urgency of bothering or limiting each other to survive. Quality over quantity of days.

The other day I stumbled upon a funny but interesting theory about psychedelics, human evolution and the forbidden fruit from the Christian creation myth. The theory goes that humans had a Brain very similar to ours today a some thousands of years ago but they had no concept of time so they behaved more like a typical smart animal. Then a group of people got so high on some weird fruit that it re-wired some parts of their brain that allowed them to understand the concept of time like we do today. Just imagine some hairy naked people drugged out of their mind asking themselves about what they’ll be doing the next day and a nearby person who didn’t eat the fruit being extremely confused about the idea of planning for the next day.
