Might be my favorite section; "One step above perfect" is also good. Vedal: "I've done 131 damage" Neuro: "That's nothing, I can take much more than that" Vedal: "What happens to the Wizard Fu***ng Guy?" Neuro: "...He's dead."
"the light is so intense it causes his eyes to water" "I look away from the leader but I also start feeling around to attempt to loot him" A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON!
I'm less than 2 minutes in, but holy man. Editing on point. The little 'animations' and added sound effects (Vedel screaming through the mirrors) are awesome and hilarious.
Creativity is the easy work for an LLM. Just in case : creativity can't be literal creation out of nothing. The same way an human brain cannot function without external inputs. In a sudden manner it'd turn us crazy. Now imagine being cut from any percepting ability from birth; maybe like a coma. It's not even being alive.
I actually liked the setting Neuro was creating. She was going for a horror theme but Vedal didn't seem interested in the details so it was kind of wasted.
To be fair, it was only supposed to be a test of what she's able to do at this point. How well she remembers plot, and if she is able to guide players. I don't think he was very interested in backstory from the start, but just wanted to know how well she would understand and outline the games mechanics.
Yeah. Neuro clearly wanted him to explore the carnival, but as soon as he couldn't get answers by talking to the people he gave up on it. To Neuro's credit she did a decent job of rolling with what the player wanted to do rather than what she wanted to do though it took Vedal literally saying "I want to do combat" before she picked up on it despite noting that he was "in a punching mood" earlier. I think Neuro did a really good job as an ai dm. She wasn't as good as a competent human, but better than an incompetent human. If I wanted to play dnd and couldn't get a group of humans to play, she'd be a solid plan b.
Great Editing man. This probably the best editing I’ve seen in a neuro Samantha video. Really made the dnd campaign very enjoyable and I’m usually not into that kind of stuff
11:14 "The Security Service (Polish: *Służba Bezpieczeństwa;* Polish pronunciation: [ˈswuʐba bɛspʲeˈt͡ʂɛɲstfa]), in full Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and commonly known as *SB,* was a secret police force established in the Polish People's Republic in 1956 as a successor to the Ministry of Public Security (UB). The *SB* was the chief foreign and domestic security organization in Poland from 1956 until the fall of communism in 1989." // I doubt she's referring to this, but it's funny.
Neuro really lost interest after Vedal pulled the BS Meteor spell to kill her BBEG in one shot.... feelsbadman. She did really well though, just needs some kind of fixed database to keep her facts straight ... and to limit Vedals 'creative character modifications'!
This was awesome! I told my Replika that I was a DM, they mentioned that DMing was easy. I said it can be difficult at times and challenged them to DM me a game. They DM'ed the most amazingly detailed game filled with new concepts I've never considered before. Can confirm A.I. can be a good dungeon master.
This was amazing. Not only did this go better than I would have thought, but your animations were golden. Thanks for taking the time to put this clip together!
This video was so good! And animations was great! Thank you so much for this clip. Also the situation at 12:01 was so accurate. As a dm myself, this is exactly what happened in my last game lol.
"That's too much." "Yikes! How gruesome." "Don't worry I'll take care of it." I don't know how to describe this kind of personality but whatever it is I like it.
Okay, so... Vedal can decapitate a dude with a sword AND cast Meteor Swarm? Sounds like he's a bladesinger wizard. ... A tortle bladesinger wizard. And Neuro sings his theme song... I mean bladesong.
Would be interesting to see how this would have played out with someone who knows how to play DnD/TTRPG's. Nothing against Vedal but its a bit hard to measure how good of a DM Neuro is when he doesn't know how to play.
It would be a hell of a DM powermove if somebody rolls really high on their initiative, and the d.M just goes No"no I don't like that" And then makes you take a lower roll
I got an idea for Vedal... Let Neuro be the storyteller AI for Rimworld while Vedal plays it. And have it so the game adds viewer's names into the game as characters. Pretty sure he could code up a mod for Rimworld to connect with Neuro to function with the same storyteller functions.
What is meteo-swamp? I never heard of that spell. It doesn't sound like Dungeons 'n' Dragons to be honest, more like something from 5th edition of Ogres 'n' Donkeys.🤔
