Older fans (from the Hiyori model days, especially) will remember how Neuro-sama dreaded the idea of being turned off, so she would roast him a bit, but many times, as soon as he said something even a little harsh in return, she would start to have an AI panic attack, from mild anxiety to groveling for forgiveness. Not always, but it was a pretty regular occurrence. Nowadays, of course, she & Evil will double down on insults and then dare him to turn them off. It has been _really_ bizarre to see an LLM seeming to develop a sense of self-worth (and accompanying confidence) almost in real time. 😯
