No Jhope doesn't want to sound just like J. Cole, 🫣 and trust me he truly doesn't. Though at times I'm sure he does sound similar. Which definitely makes sense because Jhope has always been open about how J. Cole has been a big inspiration/muse to him. Jhope is a very unique and versitle artist. He is apart of BTS, and just look at their discography.... it is extremely wide ranged. Jhope seems to love more old school beats, etc... But than again this is alao a song about "Neuron", which was the street dance crew he was apart of before he debuted with BTS in 2013. This is where it started for him. The young boy, in this video, most likely represents him when he was younger, because again, dance, Street Dance in particular, is how he started his path to music & BTS, etc.... 💜💜💜 This song is off his new album (ep.) It is also like a soundtrack to his new Docu-Series on Amazon Prime called "Hope On the Street." In the docu-series Jhope is talking us back to his roots. Which is Dance!!!
J-Hope is his own person with his own unique mastery of rapping style. He leearn how to rap his brothers RM and suga of his group BTS. Timeless geniuses of the music industry
You should check out J-Hope's Visualizer of this song. It's doesn't have the subtitles, but he is dancing all through it, and it shows his history with dance, which is what his album is all about and his docu-series that he just released. I'll link it for you. j-hope 'NEURON (with Gaeko, yoonmirae)' Visualizer - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-K7ogo6nGHMo.htmlsi=6aacJyXg3zDj9uZ- On J-Cole, I've heard him rap, and he doesn't sound like J-Cole. He was influenced by him, but he definitely has his own sound, and flow.
No dear sir, they sound nothing alike. If you have reacted to J-Hopes discography, then you will see he has his own style of rapping, singing & dancing. Another exceptional member of BTS, mastering his craft. After reacting to J. Cole & J-Hopes collab, there's absolutely no way you could listen to this song and say you hear a little J. Cole......I'm sorry but.... no
