What is a Neuropsychologist?

Disorders within the brain and nervous system can alter behaviour and cognitive function. Neuropsychologists have a doctorate in psychology and training in neuropsychology. They often work in research or clinical settings.
What does a neuropsychologist do?

Difference between Clinical psychologists and Neuropsychologist?
Clinical psychologists:-
A clinical psychologist is someone who can assess, diagnose and treat psychological and mental health problems. These can include but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder and so on.
Clinical Psychologist usually work in Disorder, Anxiety, Panic Attack, OCD
Neuropsychologist:-
A neuropsychologist on the other hand is someone who can assess, diagnose and treat psychological disorders associated with brain-based conditions. For example, they can assess the cognitive, behavioural and emotional deficits resulting from a brain injury, stroke, dementia or a pattern of cognitive strengths and weakness in someone with a learning disorder or a disorder on the Autism Spectrum.
A neuropsychologist uses a series of tests to assess various areas of cognition and behaviour, such as memory, attention, learning, processing speed and abstract reasoning. This information is linked back to brain structures, to provide information regarding the impact of any identified areas of difficulty on a person's day to day functioning.
Neuropsychologists usually work in Brain Injury, Brain Surgery, Hydrocephalus, Ascites Brain.
Qualification to become a Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist?
1.To become a Clinical Psychologists you must have M.Phil in Clinical Psychologists.
2. To become a Neuropsychologist you must have PhD in Neuropsychologist.
There are also some universities in India to become a neuropsychologist. Christ University and Amit University. There are good colleges of Neuropsychologist in foreign also.

What will be the salary?
Salary Scale will be 15K to 1lakh Rs. It depends on which sector you are working in.
