We explore the Seven Troughs mining district in Northwest Nevada, including 7 Troughs, Tunnel Camp, Mazuma, and Vernon ghost towns. Once a thriving community, the Seven Troughs district saw its share of devastating floods and mining failures which eventually led to its demise.

@@OutWestUS My wife and I would buy a couple of 10# bags of carrots, spend the night in the shack closest to the brick structure and feed the burro’s. Spend a day or so then cross the alkali flats to Gerlach, spend the rest of the year cleaning the dust from the pickup.😉
