You should be able to do duties with NPC's from the Duty Support menu. Without the need to teleport there.

RIP maybe you need to form a bug extermination friend group so they can tank for you while you hide until they're dead

In the first couple of minutes, you were saying that you couldn't apply a plate... It used to be that you could only apply plates in the main cities, but in one of the recent updates, they made it so that you can apply plates in any area that is considered a "safe" zone... In other words, if there's a crystal in the nearby area and you have the moon on your XP bar (the same one that shows for resting XP), you can apply the plates. You can still only create new plates in an inn though. 8:30 As someone else mentioned, there are some rooms that used to have something in them but don't any longer. For example, the room you were in used to have a chest at one time, but that's one of the chests that got removed when they were streamlining drops a year or two ago. There used to be some chests in dungeons that dropped things other than gear, but it was things that most people rarely used or had plenty of from other things, so they removed a lot of thsee minor chests. 13:30 I don't think the one guy was getting hit much because he was too far away from you to be hit by your AOE. 16:20 you asked if the robe could be dyed... I don't think that one can be... if it has a color circle in the upper right corner of the gear icon, it can be dyed. if there is not one, then it can't be dyed. 17:50 Orange AOE markers are almost always enemy markers. Blue ones are often ally ones... though not all have one of these two. 18:30 "i made a mistake... I don't like this dungeon... I should not have come here..." :D On the last boss... he can't be damaged when the imps are out... but the important thing as the tank is to get everything else and let the DPS deal with the imps. Once you get out of the dungeon and you're no longer synced, you can see what your actual level is. GG tanking Tam-Tara!

2 pieces of advice, well 3 1. When tanking turn off your brain, go full unga-bunga 2. learn to use your mitigations (the buttons that lower damage) especially how to roll them 3. pull wall to wall. I’ll say this part of the game it’s okay to panic, things’ll get easier the more you do them and the more tanking will become instinct rather than something you actively do. And most importantly don’t worry about failure, and don’t worry about playing with real people. This ain’t WoW, folks in this game love new players so we tend to be a bit nicer. ☺️

You know, those Yarzon Feeders only have 6 legs each. They are not spiders! (A spider would have 8 legs.) I'm sure you can train yourself to handle those! I believe in you!

Hey!!👋 btw you can queue up with npc's for dungeons from anywhere (once you have unlocked the particular dungeon). Just go to Duty, and then Duty Support. First page is ARR and it should have a list of all dungeons you can do. Hmm whats my guess on figuring out defiance, 3 groups of mobs? Good job figuring it out! 👏

You should also steel yourself, other than in the open world, as there are 3 optional dungeons that contain your nemesis: Sunken Temple of Qarn (L35), Hullbreaker Isle, & Sunken Temple of Qarn (Hard; L50).

3:33 You also don't need to go to the dungeon entrance. You can use the Main Menu > Duty > Duty Finder (Players)/Support (NPCs).

Regarding why your gloves were showing up: The slot for gloves on the glamour plate are empty. You can get items called "Emperor's New ____" gear and put them into your glamour dresser for the invisible/hiding of items.

Overall you did really well on the dungeon. Even the boss you did correct things with limited abilities. Running to packs of enemies to get their aagrro and such. Now it's just repetition. Don't get descouraged by boss mechanics though, it's normal to fail on those the first, second and third time you see them. Some mechanics can be confusing, some are simple and some don't make any sense at all, but I'm sure you get past them no problem. I also think you are pretty safe from spiders from this moment on. (hopefully)

Sometimes friends have AOE's on the ground that can be scary. Your team mate just used a limit break is why you saw the blue circle. In the future you will see many of these AOE's on the ground that looks scary but are friendly fire and nothing to worry about. Which is why many people reduce the battle effects from party memebers in the options. Clears out the unnecessary things.

Hopefully you won't have to fight any more Yassoons, but a suggestion for if you do have to fight something like that would be to put the enemy hp bar near your skills bar, that way if you need to block the screen you can still see if you are targeting them when you use your skills.

Berserk affects all direct hits. There a chance your aoe or single targets gets a "direct hit bonus", which is a small damage bonus to regular hits. There is something called direct hit rate in your attributes which you can increase with materia. But it's also different from Critical Hit which has the added bonus of affecting heals. Direct hit only affects melee hits and dmage spells, which is why it is a bit inferior to critical hit.

There are multiple areas on dungeons that are dead-ends. There might be some lore bits inside the dungeon or in the dungeon description for what the dungeon is used for. Ritualistic areas or what have you. Some dungeons ofcourse have been streamlined a bit with updates so areas might have just become un-used.

I got a few of my friends and they helped me try out tank, found out I really love it, its added a lot to my game.

I learned to tank in what I believe WoW players refer to as a catch up zone/island. It's 70 to 80, well technically 90 now.. It helped and hurt. Tanxiety is real but we find ways to tank on 😄 Glad to see your journey continues!!

To be honest if Square Enix would add an option to change all daddy long leg spiders into something funnier it would be a welcomed addition.
