AU Explanation:
After the first nightmare (as seen in episode 10) Jake keeps getting repetitive nightmares every night since. It seems as if they only get worse and much more difficult to handle. It’s as if he has to survive a night of being attacked. He’s attacked by twisted and corrupt versions of his ‘friends’, family and former bullies. If he doesn’t ‘survive’? A demonic version of himself appears and drags him into a world of pure pain and agony; just for the pleasure of seeing Jake in pain. This demonic Jake is simply a manifestation of Jake’s self hatred. Then the ‘night’ restarts and he has to try again and again and again until he wins. He cannot wake up until he wins. Daisy simply sits in his room during these nightmares - at least what looked like Daisy did so. She would just stare and watch. Making no movements. 🫶
