I've never heard of "back to ready" Yesterday I was telling Jesus that I want to care for my home as if it were His, but obviously I don't know how to do that. Since I haven't been doing it! And this feels like such an answer to prayer, this mindset shifts my perspective.
I have watched your fly lady system playlist and it is has been revolutionary in my home! My husband LOVES the results and even wants to help with the zone deep cleaning because the fruits of the labor are so rewarding: a clean, organized, tidy home with minimal possessions. I can’t recommend your flylady system enough to others. 🙌🏻
I started using the Flylady system many many years ago, when my boys were little. It was a game changer! All these years later, it’s now just my husband and myself, and the Flylady system is still the way I keep our home in order. I never feel like I need to rush through the house to clean when someone wants to drop by, my guest rooms are always guest-ready, and my kitchen stays ready for meal prep, etc.
Love it!!! The Back to Ready approach is my Jam!!! and it has helped me stay on top of things and the kids have developed that same approach as well so happy mama over here❤
I didnt know about “back to ready”…. I really like that. I can get stressed overdoing it to make it perfect, instead of just “ready” to use again. Going to repeat this phrase to myself. Thank you! Would loooove more videos on maintaining a minimal home with kids. ❤
I definitely implement "back to ready" in the kitchen at night and "back to ready" in my bedroom in the morning. I call them my bookends- make bed/clean vanity/toilet & dishes done/counters clean at night. Its all the other cleaning in the rest of the week that is the struggle.😥♥️🇨🇦
Since I've been listening to you, I have used "Back to Ready" as my goal. It is just the 2 if us, so I keep it as clean as possible. My husband apologizes when he makes a mess, I remind him that it's our home and dosen't always have to be perfect.
Love this! I did the Kon Marie method a few years ago, and it’s been a game changer! My hubby now is becoming a minimalist too. I naturally have been doing the back to ready method that you mentioned without knowing it. Makes life so much easier.
Yay!!! Back to Ready! We adopted that slogan from you and never looked back. It doesn't sound like I'm nagging when I ask the kids to get it back to ready !
I've been using "back to ready" with my kids when they push back on cleaning up from play. I tell them it doesn't have to be perfect, but let's get your space back to ready to play something else and there's something about it that helps them be a little more cooperative. It helps me too because I know I like it when the space is ready. It's kind of like how I hate flossing but every night I tell myself "I don't like flossing but I REALLY don't like having cavities between my teeth."
Such a great habit to build. I’ve implemented it here and there and in my head I’m saying back to ready! Still finding a home for everything though. It definitely helps!! 👍🏼
I need this system in my life. My word of the year is "simplify." I've been feeling since December, that I need to make life easier and homemaking more manageable. I have ADHD, too. Thank you for sharing!! 😊
The lady that came twice to help me (deep cleaned bathrooms and the hallway baseboards/walls) when I had foot surgery and couldn’t walk well. 😉 I’d love to have her come regularly- but it just hasn’t seemed to work out. So, it’s ended up still being us… like it’s always been. You can learn more here- I know snap judgements can be deceiving. 😅 348: Why You Should Consider It... Your home is very beautiful to me. I do the fly lady system to a degree, I have animals cat litter, everyday to take care of it will vary a little per person.
