I'm 31, never been kissed, never been in a romantic relationship ever. I live vicariously through the characters in the books I read.

I think the worst part is when your friends are already losing their virginity and you've never been kissed

1. There is no such thing as "normal" 2. I'm 26, never been kissed.The way I see it is that I don't want to be in a relationship for the sake of being in a relationship, I only want a relationship if I find someone I actually want to be with / feel comfortable with / am compatible with. So even though sometimes I get lonely, I'd rather be lonely than be in a relationship that i don't really want.

Girl, story of my life. I'm 23 too. Never had a relationship, never been kissed, never done anything....anything. So I'm in the same boat as you, lol. Although, there were 2 different times when a guy came up to me and asked for my number. But both times it happened at the gas station. So those are the kinds of men I attract - gas station men.

I'm turning 30 this year and I have never been in a relationship. I have never been on a date. I have been kissed only once when I was 28. Lack of confidence and fear are strong factors. Maybe it will happen, maybe it won't. Either way it is ok. It's comforting seeing the comments and how many people are in a similar situation.

yeah I definitely relate to this because I'm 20 years old and I have never been in a romantic relationship or even had romantic feelings for anyone. but I love reading books with romance and I like the idea of it but it's just never happened for me. I'm fine with it, like I am not just sitting around wishing for a boyfriend but it is discouraging that I'm at this age and it hasn't happened yet. It's so nice to hear that I'm not alone in that!

Last night I was laying in bed and for the first time in a long time felt very lonely, because I'm 24 and have never been kissed and I just wanted to be loved. I don't know how youtube decided that today of all days your video should be put in my recommended section, but I am very thankful they did. Reading the comments has made me feel a lot better about myself, knowing that I'm far from being the only one. I feel like when you are a teenager it is easier because you don't think about it as much. But now being 24, how do you tell a guy that you have never kissed somebody before. My biggest problem is that I've always been a dreamer. I have always had the idea that I would spend the rest of my life with just one person (I'm not christian or anything like that, just a hopeless romantic). I've also always known that I wanted to marry an British guy and live in England. Being from the Netherlands, that means that I have to spend time in England in order to make that happen. I will go to England after I've finally graduated college, unfortunately I took 2 GAP years before college, and have to add a year to finish, so I guess my true love fairy tale will have to wait another year.

28, same boat, never had a romantic relationship, had to grow up young, my brother was in and out of the hospital during my early 20s, there was a point I told my teachers I didn't have any of the work done, I was just going down hill but I couldn't show it because I had to be the taking care of my family. You're right, there was just no time for anything of that. Now I finally decided to go back to college and study graphic design, what I wanted, but I work two jobs and am a fulltime student, after being single for so long I feel it's hard to think about a boyfriend or make time for it. Most of the time I'm OK, but then I read about these destined couples and wonder if it'll happen to me.

I'm 28 and have never been kissed. The hardest part isn't the lack of romance...after a while, you get pretty damn accustomed to just not having it. The hardest part is how everyone around you just kind of suspects you're a virgin because you get quiet when they talk about sex, and they think it's super fun to find creative ways to try to get you to admit you've never kissed, nevermind had sex. I've lost friends over it because they refused to respect that I didn't want to talk about my sex/dating experience.

When I was your age, I never had a proper boyfriend either. My sister met her now soon to be husband at 23, before me and I was older. I felt like I will never have anyone, so I gave up on it for a while. Then I met my boyfriend when I was nearly 27, so please do not be worried. Never is really too late. Plus you get to know yourself, your boundaries, and believe me, that will serve you well when you will be in a relationship. Just enjoy your life and you will meet the person you're meant to be with when you are ready. :)

Sometimes I get that ache and crave to have someone to love and be loved back, everyone gets that lonely feeling. But then again the older I get the more freaked out I become about being vulnerable and intimate with someone. Sometimes I wonder if I'll be alone forever, if I'll ever get the confidence to be with someone in a romantic way. A lot of my fears are from personal trauma I experienced as a young teen but even with that, I feel like maybe I'm not the type of person to have a relationship. It's hard to know why I run from the possibilities of love, am I scared of being hurt or do I just not want to be with anyone? I guess I still that have that fairy tale feeling.....When the right person comes along, I'll know. I am 27 and have only just begun my first romantic relationship with an amazingly patient and kind-hearted Christian man. He is 29 and I am also his first girlfriend :) I honestly had accepted that it would never happen for me and I'm glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and allowed myself to take the risk. This guy has become my best friend. One thing I will say is that I used to read romance very heavily and have stopped because I felt convicted to do so. I am not saying that it is wrong or bad but for me, it kept me from actively participating in the kind of life I wanted and I knew I needed to focus my time elsewhere. It's great that you have been able to draw near to Christ when you were troubled. I cannot say I was always strong enough to do the same. I spent far too many years running from God. I think the best thing you can do if a relationship is something you earnestly want is to trust in God and believe that it will happen in the time He knows is best for you and the man He has set apart for you.

At first it bothered me a lot, seeing all those happy couples around me, and of course it still makes me sad at times, but in general the way I think about it now is: being single all these years really made me focus on MYSELF and helped me getting to know MYSELF better, which is the most important thing in life. I think being able to live happily on your own, not needing anyone to "complete" you (in an unhealthy way), is the best foundation for a future relationship. So don't give up! I'm 26, and I've never been kissed, been on a date or relationship. Most of my friends have married and/or have kids. And I've enjoyed watching them be happy and I'm grateful I'm still part of their lives. I've had the same questions about when is it going to happen, will it ever happen, why hasn't it happen, etc. But I don't really think about it anymore. I'm more worried about finding my dream. We all experience things at different times, and I hate how society (people) puts a time limit or exact age when things are supposed to happen. I think it's important to get to know yourself in your 20's and figure out what works best for you. But that's me. Create the life you want and feel happy with. Life isn't a race. It's a journey. I'll be 23 in one week and I've never been in a relationship before. Never even held a boy's hand. I'm not too worried about it though. Like, I see 99% of people my age jumping from one relationship to the next, just so that they're not alone but I'm weird and don't want to date someone that I'm not into. I've only had 4 crushes in my life and each of those didn't work out for whatever reasons. Tasha, let me tell you, I know how you feel, everyone has someone, or had someone in the past, and you are just there wating for "the one", wich will never be just as you wanted, but there we are all dreaming. I was 23 when I got my first kiss, and I don´t regret anything, it just came in the moment when I was thinking "f*** the world", and I didnt want it in that moment, but, 3 years later here we are together, I thought I was horrible, and fat, insecure, an whatever thing can came up on your mind, and I don't know how to end this, you are not alone, I wasn't in my moment, and thats the important part, you are as good and beautifull as all of us, it's just time... and, if this makes you feel better, they say the more intelligent we are, the more we stay single. And my mom also was through a hard time with her health, thank God she's well right now, but I thing that that also takes us out of the relationship world, because we are more involved in our family than in just having a bf. I'm about to be 35 and I was pretty much in the same boat as you at your age. But all my life I had trouble hanging with most girls my age. They always wanted to act older, they thought being a fangirl was silly/stupid, they just made me feel like the things that I liked were too immature. As a result I was too nervous and scared of relationships. Most guys just wanted to do one thing and when I'd turn that down they would just disappear. I ended up meeting my now-husband and we bonded over our nerdy passions. Just enjoy your life. Screw the timeline society pressures on us. I dont know why I typed all of that out. lol Hopefully it helps someone out.

I think it's great that you opened up about this and put it into the spotlight. Once you get to a certain age I think it's just assumed you've had these experiences and it becomes hard to talk about because you're assuming you're the only one and worried there's something wrong with you (at least in my experience). I'm 26 and have never had a boyfriend. And I'd never kissed anyone until this year. It's not anything I ever talk about because I do feel embarrassed by it. Im 23 also and have never been in a serious romantic relationship. I had a girlfriend from ages 14-16 but that was one of those very innocent relationships. I have way too many personal battles and goals I need to push through before I even begin to think about a romantic partner. I have only ever kissed one guy, and that was when I was seventeen and other than that I have never been romantically involved with someone. Hey Natasha, I just wanted to share with you that I'm 28 (almost 29 gasp) and I've never been in a romantic relationship either and I've also never been kissed. The romance novel reading and the tv show watching and the immersion of that type of thing tends to really give me that ache you were talking about. It's really like a physical pain sometimes and I hate it! I'm trying to remember that God wants to give me good gifts, and He wants to give me the desires of my heart, and the desire of my heart is to be in love with someone that reciprocates those feelings, and to get married. I think that hardest part is remembering that God's timing is perfect, and it's not my timing, although I often wish it was. Anyway, you're not alone. I hope you're well!

Loved this video! And I've never been in a relationship either, and I'm a lot older than you! I won't say that it isn't disappointing sometimes but my priority hasn't​ really been to find someone so it's easier to accept. the important thing about sharing personal stuff is that there's people like you who feel the same way and been through similar situations and it helps them so much to see someone who feels the same way and it helped me personally with depression and certain thoughts that it comes with it, I'll forever be thankful for those youtubers for sharing raw personal feelings and thoughts

thank you for this video tasha, honestly this helps all of us relate to each other a lot. It's very therapeutic for us even watching this and just listening. I'm 25 and in the same situation. i think when i was younger i had a lot of insecurities although i've never let them show. I've always put up a wall where i dont like people knowing and seeing my weaknesses. Now that im in my mid 20s im a much more confident person and i think that im mostly in a happy place where im comfortable with myself and in my own body. It's not something i dwell on and know that things happen when they are supposed to but still having this thing where i've never experienced any type of connection or anything with anyone still is something that weighs on me sometimes and sometimes makes you worry about if it'll ever happen. It's like a thing at the back of your head that just creeps in sometimes, specially when you see everyone around you and even younger having these experiences, getting married, having kids etc. It's also hard if you dont have any close friends to share with and then family members constantly nag you and questioning you about it.

I'm 16 years old and I know, I KNOW I'm still young and everything, but I feel so identified with what you said. My friends and everyone around me has already had relationships, and the fact that a boy has never really liked me back yet just makes my confidence go straight down sometimes. Girl, my heart breaks for you with all of the hardships and craziness that your family went through, but praise God that you're through it and that He promises to never leave us empty. I think a lot of us are in the same romance, never-had-it-but-we-want-it boat. I'm 23 and never been kissed or in a relationship, and you know, I really love my life. Though I love romance and mushy gushy stuff, I've learned that I'm complete on my own, and any guy will just be the cherry on top. Have you thought about college online? You're definitely not alone in the never had a boyfriend/ never been kissed department. I'm 19 and have never been in a relationship or kissed. And it never really bothered me every once and awhile it would, but not really. But recently since becoming a college freshmen it has really started to bother me. What has brought me a kind of calm about it though in the last couple of months is the realization that I need to focus on my relationship with God first, and that when the time comes he will bring the perfect person.
