Couple of things Jack. First there are currently only 2 restaurants on the Navarre beach you have to drive over the sound to find a place to eat in Navarre. Also note during tourist season certain times of day traffic is very heavy going over the bridge from Navarre to Navarre beach. Second I would never buy any house on the beach or within walking distance due to flooding and erosion and the cost would only do it if I was a very rich person. I live in Midway and in a sound side subdivision which is half mile from the shores of the sound thankfully Navarre beach is the barrier island protecting me. You are right the insurance is still very expensive and hard to get lots of insurance companies no longer offer insurance in this area.
Most interesting! At my age and economic situation I’ll just rent whenever I come down from Wisconsin. I totally agree with you that this is one of the most beautiful places that I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting!
