The carpet fought hard but still could not win 😄.

It must have weighed ten pounds more before it was cleaned!

Looks like the dirt was holding this little beauty together

It's a rug. Good for placement at exterior doors to once again catch the dirt and wet shoes would otherwise track through the home. Spots and stains remaining, sure. I guess there are limits as to how much time can be allotted per rug. I wonder if those residual black spots are cigarette burns. And the larger stain ..... I would be hitting those with my good ole trusty Windex spray. On a carpet? Yep. I have gotten out many an old stain our of carpets and rugs. I have kept the interior of my cars clean with Windex, even the upholstery.

That's the problem with American throw-away society. Terrible for the environment when something can just be cleaned.
