+Tobi Bl So true. People want to glorify lifestyles like Casey's, but it really depends on the type of person you are. Doesn't matter whether you like to go do shit or you like to be sedentary.
+Amylopez15 Look at the neighborhood he lives in, the clothes he wears, the bed he sleeps in, his vehicle, his apartment, the technology he uses, his work space, the restaurants he eats at etc... Yea, this guy doesn't care much for being comfortable.
I've always been inspired by how Casey says *"I never want to feel comfortable I never want to feel safe"*. That's made me just go out and start trying to find something new or something to work towards every day. *I recently filmed a short movie where my friend and I go out and explore the places around us instead of falling into routine, it would make my day if you could see if you enjoy the stories I tell in my weekly movies* !
+Giovanni Montalvo He's definitely an inspiration to me as well, good luck with your weekly movies, I'll check them out now! I should've gone weekly so that I could spend more time polishing mine, daily is hard-- even when I cheat by using my snap story.
Casey, you may want to use the regular plastic props for indoors. Even with prop guard that can slice off someone's finger while plastic won't. I did the same carbon fiber with props and it literally sliced part of my door instead of my body part. Carbon fiber dangerous for indoors!!!
Yeah carbon fiber is overrated, it may be a bit stable flight but if it crashes... That will kill someone vs. plastic, it won't hurt that much like a toy.
I've been watching as many videos as I can over the past 2 days. I've seen many of your vids in the past, however I decided randomly to subscribe. Love the tech stuff, and everything else, being in the industry for the past 20 years myself, similar age, and also have a daughter almost the same age as yours too. Its great seeing her included in the videos as they look a lot alike. Thanks for contributing great content to RU-vid!
I love how Casey is so balanced in that he still films high-quality vlogs while also taking care of his baby. You are awesome, Casey and I love all of your RU-vid videos!
The part about NYC vs. LA in the end card...I have the exact same feeling about the two places I live. One is laid back and peaceful and I never get anything done, the other is fast-paced and productive. The hardest part is deciding which one is better. I'm gonna make a video on it soon, no doubt.
+ThreeDotNaught I lived in NY from the time I was 8-25, moved to OC/LA in 2010 and I'll never go back. Although I find that growing up in NY gave me great work ethic that I dont think I wouldve found out here, I got tired of everyone being in a "get out of my way" kind of mood. Casey is very positive and happy but that is not a typical New Yorker
+Elmer Escobar I'm sure he's not, he's not even close to a typical human being haha. I'm glad you like it there! I'd love to visit someday. The two cities I'm referring to are Traverse City, MI and Ann Arbor, MI with Ann Arbor being the busy, productive city.
+Mario Kirchsteiger it is! And I'm not sure...the NYC vs. LA thing has just become a symbol of contrast I guess. It doesn't hurt that they're the two biggest cities in the USA.
Casey you are the best RU-vidr ever I love your vlogs and I watch them whenever you post your videos are so entertaining and I could easily watch at least five hours worth of it in one sitting keep up the good work
I know that he will have problems if he will fly it in the city but how hard is to drive out of the city? Im not from USA - NY I have no idea how far is but just an idea :D
+Vlogstaa it's not that far, you can go to the other end of Queens for example and totally feel you're on the countryside. but still, it's gonna be illegal. btw if he has nothing to do outside of the city i don't think it would be worth it to drive for like an hour only to fly his drone. plus if he gets out of the city he won't be able to see the skyline or stuff like that, which is not very interesting for us viewers
WOW! Today is my birthday AND the 300th vlog :). Nothing better than watching the 300th vlog on your birthday before heading to school! Watching this made my birthday 100% better!
Casey when you talk about doing something more, I have to say you have done so much for the viewers! Your vlogs are great and it looks like you put so much time and money into them. So thank you Casey for 300 videos that make my days!!
For one week each month make a small movie. For example,From Monday to Saturday upload daily vlog style videos of you doing/Working on the movie(not giving too much away) then on the Sunday upload the Small movie for the world to enjoy! :)
+Saw Kegsy - Leader Great idea. It'll push him to make new content that he can put more time and creative energy into (compared to daily uploads), and for us, maybe we will get more DIY videos or something. Casey, those were my FAV before you started vlogging!
Been watching Casey since he started vlogging, one thing I noticed is that likes to be outdoors... Got me thinking "when someone likes to be outdoor it means that's where they feel most alive". Got me inspired to find more life out there.. Thanks
Hey Casey, really enjoying your vlogs. Thanks for the entertainment. I like to end my day watching one or two of your vlogs, puts me in a happy place to settle to sleep. BTW, you have a beautiful family. :)
I was an electrician back in the day I did work in your building and many others in your area miss it thanks for the videos man I was also in the World Trade Center on 9/11 for 3days lost many friends that day I haven't been in nyc since that day I don't think I could ever go there again it's sad but to many bad memory's I can't do nyc I just can't n I worked all over nyc that was the place to work back in the day even tho it's been 15yrs I never been back in the city Brooklyn yes but no city every time I see it brings be back to that day and I'm up for days it sucks your videos make me feel a little better when I see all parts of the city so thank you for that Casey thank you
" If you are not constantly evolving your craft than whats the point of doing it any ways ? " , this is why I love Casey's Vlogs and get inspired every day.
Casey when you put your camera down to record a shot of you walking away, do you ever get scared someone will steal it?? You live in NYC. I've started vlogging like that and it makes me nervous
Love watching your vlogs!! Keep up the awesome work 😊 I noticed you guys walk right by where I got engaged in October! (Around 3:30 right where the lit up trees were) :)
"Comfort scares the shit out of me" im so glad i heard this cus thats actually what ive been feeling in my life but i just dont know how to say it, its me and those words just describe me so perfectly.
I love watching your videos because your in my home town and I love it and miss it so much I wish I could come back it's just to much money to live there it's been 10 yrs now I come back as much as I can I miss the pizza I live in Pa and it's a great place to raise a family but anyway if you didn't go check out Greenpoint it changed so much since I was there great food they should of had that when I was growing up there's always great food in Brooklyn love Brooklyn I'll come home when I die I'll be buried there for sure lol great videos thanks man
+George West lol I don't think he needs a husband, much less 4. The Hubsan X4 is definitely a good quad though. I have one and one with the prop guard. The thing is tough. I've crashed it hard SO many times and only bent a couple props. They even have one with a crappy camera on it.
+Lei Kai I think what he meant was something that was less based on his real life, and more like a film that focuses on a single thing in greater detail, and in an interesting way. Kind of like the video about the glasses, headphones, iPhone dock, etc. Does that make sense?
Rasmus Palmroth Well if there's ice cold wind accompanying it, it feels even colder. But yeah, I'm not too good with like anything below -3°C or something. I can hold out heat a lot better.
