Now you know why singing competitions are very hard in the Philippines, because it's not easy to please the Filipinos since voices like this are just heard usually.

I am not Filipino but I can sing in fact it’s the one thing I can actually do well with no effort but my husband is Filipino and his voice is so beautiful as well but takes no effort AT ALl! I always tell him that his voice is so beautiful and he always says mine is better but I don’t think so! It’s true why can Filipinos sings so well without even trying my husbands runs are out of this world! I really wish he would share his gift because he should of been discovered a long time ago! I am to afraid to sing in big crowds lol
Singing competitions in the Philippines is hard because Filipinos are not easily pleased, you have to come up with a unique approach in your voice or song to be able to impress us, and if you can whistle that's plus points.
If I was there and she started singing I would sit down and watch her with my jaw dropped until she finished and then stand up and clap. Like OH MY GOD WOW
When I was a child, I asked my late father that I wanted to join any singing competition and hopefully become a singer. Sadly, it never happened due to financial difficulties that he Could not afford to support me. I understood him. Now I am 45 years old and working overseas as an OFW. But I am glad that I am still singing on stage in the foreign land here in Papua New Guinea and never had the opportunity in my land in the Philippines. Kahit hindi man nangyari pero pa tuloy pa rin ako kumakanta at nag inspire sa mga tao na showcase their talents in any platform. I have watched The Voice, X Factor, all the time and i checked, beyond USA have 4 countries with many talents: England; Holland; Poland; Filipinas, the best of Asia!!! God bless you people of Philipines, from Brazil!

I guess in a place where good vocals seems common...there is no insecurity or doubt when almost EVERYONE sings at that level. Its like the world turned upside down where those with regular voices (like myself) feel pressure to sing in public.

everyone can be a singer, but not everyone can a have a break. There's always a perfect time for us to shine in different ways. Having this beautiful voice is already a gift. She can be famous someday.
