This is track 6 from The New Life Community Choir's album entitled "He Made A Way" recorded in 1987. Lead by John P. Kee and Eunicetine "Tinea" Morrison (October 24, 1961 - January 24, 2015) Written by John P. Kee
I got this album when it first came out and I was 11 years old. I STILLhave the orginal LP! LOL I'm 40 years old now and I'm just YouTubing classic gospel and reliving those days. Such memories punctuated by good music. Me and my brother used to play this one to death! Can't believe how many years have passed! RIP Tina.
yeah he also denies my aunt tina morrison!!!! I'm Sheff Morrison and just happened to type in my family names listening to old stuff and ran into this its cool to see people giving her appreciation that she deserves and don't think she received fully. She still sick too, i did a song with her recently I'm going to post and you can get music from me ill see if she has this for you brother just inbox me!! Matter fact I'm going to get her to post on here!!
I was devastated by the loss of Tinea. Yes, John remembers this and other rare ones with him singing on them that I have posted from. I do have other albums from the 80's with John singing on them that I have not posted from.
When I upload from an album I am much more generous than most regarding the number of tracks I post from one album. Once I post from an album I never go back to that album to post additional tracks.
I looked for this album 3 years ago...almost was able to buy it, but the site i saw it on never allowed me to. Guess its one of those rare ones you cant find anywhere... :/
Well Coko and the crew were formed in 1986 as a gospel group. I was right there in the South Bronx. Her mom sang various leads with the New York Community Choir.
