Ben is 100% the kind of guy I’d have fallen hard for in high school. As an adult, I love how both their characters (and Devi and her friends) show the different ways teenagers can be sweet and loving while still in the process of trying (and sometimes failing) to figure out who they are without being an asshole. It’s a lovingly written show.

9:57 YESSS!! I'm afro latina & bc i look more black than latina when i tell ppl or they hear me speak in spanish they think im lying, "trying to be something im not", or "doin too much". Like I'm very connected and proud of BOTH of my cultures but I hate having to fight tooth & nail to ensure my identity is being recognized.

Dont let anyone tell you are not latina enoungh. Being latino is not a related with race, actually latin america is very diverse and thats the most beautiful part . You are latina because you are proud of your culture and that is more than enoungh ❤️
