This week our coaches are subjected to Eoghan's embarrassing questions, including some more sage advice from Dolores on the importance of proper microwave use... just watch!
I'm heartbroken. When I was growing up, 90s music was pretty bland. The only bands I listened to were Cranberries and Roxette. Interestingly, the last cassette I ever bought before CD players became common in cars was their album "Everyone else is doing it so why can't we." (LOL, still the longest name I've ever heard on any album). It might be extremely difficult to get a CD now, I heard their CD sales (including Amazon downloads) are up almost 900% this week! They occupy THREE of the top 10 spots on most downloaded songs on Napster and Amazon!

I really miss this woman!!! She was my idol in my teenagers age. My dad was crazy about Cranberries and we listened to it almost every day at home . I remember time when I was about 16 yrs old and start playing guitar , I locked myself in my bedroom and all day practice 'Zombie' and 'Linger'. Love you Dolores .You will always live in my heart.
asking questions and then being a smartar*e and not letting them answer... I forgot Dolores was gone, when I was watching and listening to her then... such energy and honesty
I discovered this video by change, two of the members of My favourite irish bands were coaches of the voice Ireland. Sir kian and misses dolores Best regards to all irish population from Lima Peru I have already suscribed to this channel
Dolores RIP Sir kian thanks For being an authentic singer of earth You brings us joy every time that You are on stage as well as You give a sense of energy I do really love Kind regards
most curious thing how when Dolores speaks, it's heaviest Irish accent I have heard by American standards. Then when she sings, the accent disappears. may she rest in peace. truly heart breaking to me. I loved watching her so much. still do.
It could be that she knows she's mainly followed by America as a singer, and by Irish in interviews, so instinctively arranges her voice? And I don't think that her accent is heavier than any Irish.
When people sing in the standard way the accent doesn't come through. When people speech level sing then accent comes through. Now here's the punch Dolores was able to do both. If you listen to Linger you hear her accent coming through as she is using her speech level voice in much of that song, this gives the song more feeling. If you listen to her singing promises you will not hear her accent as she sings in a more conventional fashion with great range, remember Dolores has quite a good singing range in octaves and also flipped between octaves which gave her that yodeling sound. The put it simply she had quite an array of firepower when it came to singing.
She sang and spoke in her natural accent, which was what 'Americans' used to talk like, UK, European, etc.. USA centre of the Universe, no! Not center, sheesh!
Marvin Hubbard please educate yourself. Bipolar doesn't just kick in like when shes was teling a story. She was being passionate about the story she was telling that's all.
contitch 1 ..I have been diagnosed with bi-polar 3 years ago..im 38 now and im still learning about it But i do know that people can hold it back as I have..Im not a professional but I know that . as for Me when I go into full blown Mania I dominate conversations i stand and talk over everyone ..as you can see in the video the other people there were trying to pull her down . Educate me. Im all yours baby
Marvin Hubbard Okay fair enough. I understand what your saying now. Your initial comment just came across like you were judging her. I apologise. You are clearly educated im sorry. I had a brother that lived with bi polar and sometimes people would judge him on his actions even though sometimes it was just his personality not the condition itself.
@@G8912-b1l I'm American and I knew what she meant by "spud". It isn't commonly used as slang for potato here, but I still knew that a potato is often called a spud in many other areas of the world.
I felt a little sorry for Amelia here because I did feel that Dolores was not treating her with much respect.I'm sure Jamelia knows how to look after herself though.
