Tbh, this is the best Redesigned Plarail, like honestly, he looks amazing, the only problem I had was with the unpainted buffers in the back, Epic Music.
I’ve always liked this version of Henry. I can’t really choose between this and the original though. But I don’t think the Plarail redesigns are bad. I don’t even mind the new Edward, even though I do agree that the old one is better.
The redesigned Henry doesn’t look that bad, but I really wish the running board was fully painted as well as the pistons and tender buffers and I think it would look a lot better with unique side rods like the old Henry and the redesigned Gordon, but everything else actually looks pretty good and it’s certainly not the worst!
Honestly, this model is really good. I don’t really like how the molded bogey wheels overlap the driving wheels, but as a toy it’s fine, and there is far more good things about it than bad
The Plarail 2018 Henry redesign looks pretty nice for what it is because I'm a sucker of the CGI stuff Henry looks really nice of its details despite a few nitpick duds the side rods are no exception they are exactly the same, and they could have taken the side rods from Gordon but oh, well if I ever had a second Gordon I will do this sort of treatment and the red car is nice aside from The Flying Kipper detail, which is a nice touch could have had more though over it looks really nice.
While I like most others prefer the older Henry model, this one isn't bad at all. Sure he lacks a few details, but from what I know he's a smooth runner. So if you don't have a Henry in your collection, and you can find him for a good price, than I would say pick him up.

This was my first Henry I got after restarting to collect. He is good for the start but I will probaley get the 2003 one soon. 2018 got hella the strength tho💪.

I got that same Plarail Henry model last year, and I think it looks kind of good in some way. Overall, disappointing about the unpainted details, and frankly I wish they have given him the same treatment on his side rods like they did for Gordon.
Just checked the back of my updated Plarail Gordon and he’s got the little branding on the cab too Tho his is 2014 instead of 2018 Idk if it’s just a thing for these two Weird
EXACTLY. It’s hard to describe, you can’t put your finger on it; but there’s just something about him. I don’t even know if it’s good or bad but I like him lol
It bring back some good memories I remember when Henry pulled 20 Troublesome Trucks is it possible to remake it all over again? They will be nice also enjoy the video🤟🏿
The 2018 Plarail Redesigned Henry is okay Plarail model except that it’s missing some details but it’s definitely way better than the 2012 Mattel Trackmaster Henry and the 2014 Mattel Trackmaster Henry because the 2012 Mattel Trackmaster Henry and the 2014 Mattel Trackmaster Henry both have a large boiler where you can’t see the cab windows in the front while the 2018 Plarail Henry has a small boiler where you get to see the cab windows in the front.

Plarial CGI Henry is a good Tomy Thomas toy. The classic Tomy Henry will always be the superior one, but this one is fine for anyone who just wants any Tomy Henry. At least it's not the Plarail All Engines GO engines. Also move over Toby's Mega Train! Its all about Henry's Ultra Train!

The plastic they now use for the plank wagons is so cheap and nasty, it's just not very dense, leading to serious light bleed. They are also a bit lighter from what I remember.
I have attached my new plarail Henry to the old Tomy Henry’s tender and I don’t really like the new Henry face so I used the old face from the model series
I love the plarail Gordon and James, but I don’t think I’ll buy Henry. I grew up with 2 Henry models. I had a 2013 TRACKMASTER version, and a tomy one I got in a huge tomy yard sale lot for 5 bucks. I will always love the tomy model, and it’s just better than this one
