I heard this song on my way into work one morning in a new light....the realization of the love we feel is God's love!!! Made me cry!!! God works through each and every one of us to send a message! I heard it loud and clear! I was and still am a big fan of Stephanie Mills in the 80's!
The reference to the God's love is acceptable becaue everyone can give it the sense more convenient according its personal experience. I feel like the God's love and feel like an eternal love that I feel for a spanish woman.

The one comment that mom stressed was, whoever played Dorothy is going to go places. A few years later Stephanie finally hit the dance and pop charts with her second album (her first was on Motown, which bombed). For me, when it came to her releasing music, she was an easy purchase. I used to go to Harry's Back East, Barefoot Boys, The Ipanema, The Crisco, etc. I listen to this song and it just makes me cry from happiness, memories and where did all the time go??? Thanks for taking me back! I turned 60 last year and that was major drama for me. But back then I was in my teens and twenties. There was nothing stopping me back then! I can still see that Disco Ball spinning at The Ice Palace 57... I miss that time.
