'Never Leave You' was the debut single for recording artist Lumidee. It was released in May of 2003 and immediately gained immense success as it became the most requested song on multiple New York Radio stations, this resulted in multiple labels offering recording deals leading to her eventually deciding with Universal. On Billboard, 'Never Leave You' debuted at 61 eventually climbing to the top 10 , then 5 eventually reaching it's peak of 3. It's currently certified Platinum. It became a worldwide hit, reaching the top 10 in multiple countries outside of the United States (#2 in the United Kingdom, #1 (on the then) Europe Hot 100 Singles, #1 in Italy) and so on.
