Never Redraw Again - Wildfrost 1.2.0 

wildfrost does have a reputation for being a difficult game, but in reality i really do believe every run is winnable, on release i think the difficulty was overrated because wildfrost IS actually very hard if u dont know which units are good, how the turn economy works and how mechanics interact, but as time go by we can see that the game isnt THAT hard, but some players that are slower to learn are the most vocal, hence the developers tend to make the game easier with each updates i feel. take frost guardian as an example, on release everyone was shitting about him in the discord saying how the boss isnt fair and there is no counter play while in actuality u just ignore/ink him and the fight is relatively free. tldr, the devs still think that people think the game is too hard (which it isnt if u know what ure doing, but for most people, it is quite challenging)

the game’s still hard just in a more interesting way, new blood bell and sun bells provide way more interesting synergy and things to do which is far more fun

@@KAMUPhobiestbf 2/3 of the clans don’t have good or any access to ink and if you don’t have good attack times your units may have to attack the frost guardian not to mention how other units like grizzly or Gobbler can hide behind him and if you don’t have aimless or barrage, explode or a strong item they can be nightmares. You have a lot of counters but if you can’t field them or can’t get them on your deck in time it can make the strat much harder to play out. Again possible just tough and annoying at times

yea 2 more sun bells i think undeniably skews the game to be a little easier on average. in recent memory though i only ever lose runs to mistakes, not to actual decision making flaws. wildfrost just ends up being a game about being 100% sure the move you're making doesnt kill you in some way you dont expect

I feel like the extra sun vault is probably more to make it more likely for us to get a specific bell with all the extra bells in the pool.

T2 is a classic, i think i kinda like T1 a little more though, terminator is definitely one of those series that had a great concept and like 2 really good movies and then just a legacy of hell for the rest of time

i originally hated nova but now i think i might be her biggest fan, not sure yet

That would be sick, honestly. Would love to spice things up with a balls-to-the-walks all in strategy.

nova's pretty cool, definitely in the running for best balance charm holder in the game

but then ure spreading hits for an effect that can boost the enemy more than u? what unit wants lupa anyways? i think the use case with lupa is shelbo on to a single unit with an effect that u wanna boost and maybe a frog charm

Issue is Lupa boosts enemies, too. For "when hit" companions you usually go for Curse Crown Slapcrackers (0 damage x 4 hits) or equivalent. And the problem: • Moko's are now gain +4 attack. • Frostingers are now -5 frost. • Final bosses: gain more attack, give more trash, etc. There's so few worthwhile effects you'd want to gamble for. Maybe a +4 extra attacks Krono?

@paladynne even then, ure just hoping it would hit kronos, if the board was only 3 units (hero, lupa, kronos), the only unit getting multistrike is only lupa, and i dont think u wanna have ur units in your deck by the time u set up lupa kronos slapcrackers, with crowns, maybe, but theres gotta be a better line than wasting 3 crowns on that set up

@@KAMUPhobies I was assuming you'd have the Crowns for the setup. Pre-combat with Tiny Tyko, for example, is TT down first then Slapcrackers. Then the rest of your units. So Lupa top lane, Krono bottom lane. Slapcrackers into top so only Lupa gets hit, only Krono can receive the buff. Then the rest of your Crown cards. Regardless there's just very few cards Lupa can buff to be insane, seems really niche.

@paladynne yeah, i did say it might be ok with crowns, but is it really that good to allocate 3 crowns on that setup? not to mention cursed crowns so u MUST play the cced card, i dont think its as good as just playing tyko

i turned it off, someone a while back said it was hurting their eyes

If you crown it and have lots of companions, you can just rocket a bunch of them out immediately and save a few turns

ya there's also an infinite apparently with the bell that lowers the redraw timer when you recall companions, if your deck is 4 cards + 2 companions you can just play them forever

He goes from working only on crowns to working only on non crowns

He's now a lot more situational whereas before he was almost always winning regardless of team comp

he's pretty much a shademancer card now

krono can gain synergy with zoomlin nest now, so there's that
