With elders it’s a bit tricky. The peaceful places are too far and you have to drive through the night to cross Naran by 7am. Plus the Yaris will get pretty roughed up. If they don’t plan on hiking around much I’d recommend get a reservation at a nice hotel with a view and stay there. Maybe in Kashmir or swat. If budget isn’t an issue fly to skardu. Otherwise you’ll get into traffic almost anywhere you go until end of August. Also be mindful of the monsoon. Check weather conditions before heading out. Roads and bridges get swept away during monsoon.

She wants to be a vet and specially the part in the episode with wild horses ... in any event i liked the episode and the "Northern Area('s)" series. Maybe at some point you can tell us more about your film(?) camera and the music you choose which goes so very well with the majestic imagery of Gilgit-Baltistan. I wish you will make a flora and fauna episode of Gilgit-Baltistan (without the cuss words lol).
